I don’t even know where to start. I was out to dinner with a party of eight, we had an older lady as our waitress and took our appetizer order. Ticket number 1048607. We literally waited about 45 minutes until I approached the waitress about the appetizer that was ordered. Now please keep in mind , some ordered the salad bar . So on my way going to the salad bar, the waitress was at another table and I had to approach her on this. She told me it was comeing. ... no problem. Come to find out they didn’t have any. Horrible... The food that was ordered arrived to the table over cook and not hot. So we told another waitress who delivered the food, she said they were going to take it off the ticket and remake it. Well come to find out, they didn’t remake it , they just put it in the microwave. And the reason we all know, is because the same scoop that was takeing out of the dish before hand was still there. And the soggy bread stick .Awful.... when we told our original waitress it was supposed to be off the ticket, when we checked out she went back and forth with us like we lied. So she calls this young female manager with tattoos who was rude and disrespectful. She needs to be trained on her customer service. She came off super aggressive it was bad. I was managing restaurants for nearly 20 years and you see pretty much everything. But this experience was awful. From the service,timing of food, meal quality, management. I don’t know if new staff was working or what but the experience I had on 12 April was horrible. The only reason I gave two stars is because of the salad bar.... it was great. Forgot to mention I had to find our waitress for refills. Don’t get me wrong Jakers food is normally good , but this night it wasn’t as well as the service. Please retrain that young manager / blonde with the tattoos . If not I guarantee you, you will be firing her...

The waitress we had was very nice and friendly but clearly frazzled. She had mentioned that she was a bit behind and to please be patient which was completely understandable. We finally got our drinks and ordered an appetizer, it finally came out when she was taking our order for food, I ordered the lettuce wrapped burger with a baked potato and a salad bar my husband ordered a steak with soup. We placed our order at 8:38 pm, around that time there was a group of 5 ladies that were seated beside us. There was also a table of 4 seated about the same time as us. About 9:10pm both of those tables had received their food, we just waited patiently for our food to come. Finally at 9:20 we asked the waitress if we could just get the check because we had some place to be and not sure how much longer it would take. The waitress asked us nicely if we just wanted to wait a bit longer to which we responded no. She brought the check and said sorry. I understand since i didn't get my meal the salad bar was full price but it was a bit insulting no manager came to speak with us and at this time the restaurant was almost empty. 9:45 We quietly left. This visit just left a bad taste in our mouths and was very disappointed. This was the second visit to your establishment, the first time was our Holiday party and by the time my steak came back everyone was leaving and I had to get it togo. I did email them 20 days apart and have never gotten an email back. Til this day no one has ever contacted us. And this as posted on their web page. Read moreI decided to give Jackers a second chance to redeem itself because the first experience was pretty rough. The calamari was undercooked and I ordered it crispy. For an entree I ordered the blue cheese burger and got a regular cheeseburger. For a $15 cheeseburger it was pretty average.
Second time around, ordered the calamari and it was excellent. My sister was with me from out of town and treating myself and my daughters to dinner. Being from Connecticut we know our seafood. She ordered the Lobster Alfredo and got blackened chicken Alfredo. We told the waiter and he said he would get us the right dish. He brought out what was not Lobster Alfredo again... but a seafood medley he called it. It was basically linguine loaded with imitation seafood. $25 for pasta and fake seafood and not what we ordered? Give me a break. When my sister asked why she didn’t get the lobster Alfredo, the waiter said he was out. So what? Was he trying to pass off some BS as the lobster Alfredo? Lobster bisque came out and didn’t have a single piece of lobster in it. If you’re are going to charge premium prices for lobster dishes, you damn well better have actually lobster in it. Lastly, I ordered potato skins to be delivered at the end to bring to my fiancé at the hospital as she was tired of eating hospital food after giving birth... well when the check came no potato skins on the bill or ready to go. I had to wait 20 more minutes and track down another waiter to get the appetizer. The food that we did actually receive was very good aside from the imitation seafood but the service was awful.
