A GEM hidden just off 10th Street in —-After my glowing review of Dickey’s Becue has lost some of it’s glamor! We have visited regularly on the day they have the special pulled pork sandwich, with a special price. The food, service and delicious smells can not be beaten! The PRICE on a “regular” almost stopped my heart! Visit Dickey’s on specials day OR join me somewhere else where it does not cost “an arm and s leg” for a very modest meal!!!! Visited Dickeys again last night and was blown away! The staff was tops and the food was outstanding, and i dont mean outstanding on the sidewalk looking in! We went in and from the moment you smell the smoke until you stagger out with you stomach filled and your mind blow away, you have had the Dickies Experience!! Please enjoy the new pictures i have added. You may even see my reflection in the front window!

I ordered from door dash. Amongst my order, I ordered a 3 meat plate with sliced brisket, chicken breast, and pulled pork. They sent chicken breast, pulled pork and jalapeño cheddar sausage. I cannot eat spicy foods as it makes me severely ill. I tried to call them. First time it rang for a while then hung up. Second time I called it just rang for about 5 minutes, third time it rang for a while and I hung up. I will be reporting to corporate in the morning. Bad orders happen, but them refusing to answer the phone and then hanging up on me is definitely NOT ok! I am willing to accept mistakes but this is just bad service.

Who doesn't know and recognize the big yellow cup? Stopped here for quick lunch because fried okra and a half and half iced tea was on my mind. I ended up ordering the Friday special which was pulled pork, two sides, a roll, and a drink for about $12. No okra was available which was a bummer so I went with coleslaw and waffle fries. Pulles pork was good as were the sides. Food is about 3.5 but service made this a 4. Friendly team who was definitely trying to take care of everyone.

I ate here on Wednesday April 24th of 2024. When my mother and I came in, there was a nice young man there behind the counter who served up delicious food. As we were eating, he was replaced by a young woman and her two kids, who we later found out was the owner, Aspen. Her 2 kids, who appeared to be about 4 and 6, ran behind the counter and initially to the back where the cooking appliances were. After their mom got there, the older girl eventually sat down behind the cash register with a tablet, but the younger boy began playing, first near the cash register, and then with the stack of yellow cups, of which eventually fell on the floor. The owner yelled at him, before putting the cups back up to be served to customers. When we left, out of concern for the children's safety, and the health of customers, we did contact the Greeley Police to report a child endangerment/neglect situation. I know that it was the owner, as I contacted the restaurant to speak to a manager or owner, and was surprised when the owner was the one who picked up the phone and identified herself as Aspen. Her response was that she did not have child care when she was short staffed, and needed the money. While I can understand the importance of making money, as both a preschool teacher and a mandatory reporter, I cannot condone endangering children, (or customers), for the pursuit of more money. In this situation, the restaurant should have been closed! Period! I don't know the outcome of the Police report, but I will not be coming here again, and I strongly recommend others not to support this business either. P.S. Corporate has been contacted about this...

Just went to the one on 10th in Greeley. Normally, this place has been satisfactory/adequate for a bar-b-que place. However, over the last year, both the food and the service have steadily declined. The last two times the brisket has been extremely dry and overcooked. Today, in addition to the brisket being the worst I have ever had from any bar-b-que place today (overcooked to the point of being burned), the jalapeno kielbasa sausage was undercooked. When I got out to the truck, I thought I had better check to see if I got everything. Good thing I checked, they left all the sides out of the bag. I had to go back in and get them. Additionally, the cashier acted as if I was putting her out with my picking up my online order. She got a little irritated and had to rush around to put it together...which is odd because I ordered ahead of time, online, and marked an 11:30 am pickup. I got there at 11:34, stood around waiting for them to help me (at the online pickup) until 11:43, and did not get out of there until 11:57...and again, missing my sides as well. Well, it is a bit of a drive to go to Loveland or Frederick, but, I think I will go that route and stick with either Serious Texas Bar-b-que or...

Tldr; Took three people more than 20 minutes to make an order for two (meats and sides are prepared at the start of the day; all they had to do was fry some 5 minute wings and put meat in a bun). Left the restaurant and found out the order was completely wrong. Will not be returning.

I’ve worked at a Dickeys restaurant for two years. The item that takes longest to prepare is chicken tenders, at 5-6 minutes in the fryer. When I went in today to pick up an order, the restaurant had no line and was completely empty except for a couple who were already eating. The three workers I could see hadn’t even begun making the order, so it would stay fresh, and that’s fine. However, an order of two sandwiches, two already prepared sides (non fried), and a few chicken tenders taking three workers more than 20 minutes to prepare is not fine. That is outrageous. At longest, it should have taken 10 minutes, and even that is crazy for a completely empty restaurant and three people. Even worse, after leaving the restaurant, I found out they got the order wrong. Horrible experience, and I will not be returning to...
