I was very hungry after church, Google pointed out that this was a 24hrs open restaurant; I was hesitant, I mean Denny's has left a disappointing memory of what a good 24/7 restaurant used to be. But I was hungry, and cold. I decided to give it a try, it's not too big, it has gambling machines and an ATM machine, I really didn't feel like this place was going to deliver. I sat at a nice table, the sunlight was coming in and I was warming up, I saw the desserts and the ice cream,oh my!! But I wanted a wholesome breakfast, the waitress was so welcoming and kind, all my worries were gone, even my awful week ✨ all I needed was someone who wants to do their job well, yk? Customer service, like in the beginning of capitalism. I asked for dessert first of course, a delicious strawberry and cream cake with hot chocolate and whipped cream, and water with no ice. The lady was quick and understanding, my accent wasn't an issue or that my meal was something that is supposed to be eaten afterwards. I was so happy I ordered eggs, home fries (they called them something else), and grilled cheese, there was a charge for it but like I mentioned, I was hungry. Another waitress seeing that I was looking at the menu, asked me if I was ready to order. That is service! When is not even your table and you want to help the customer. I replied that I was being helped and ty. Nevertheless, she brought me my food 🥰 Hot, well cooked, flavorful; complete. Nothing missing. I love the whole experience so much I ordered chicken tenders and a baked potato with sour cream and marinara sauce. I paid and left. When I arrived home I opened the tray and everything was well served, very presentable. Google's suggestion turned out to be the wholesome experience I was looking for on a cold January morning 🌞 To the staff in Black Stone : Thank you🤗 You helped my sad day, become a beautiful shiny day 🔆 Keep up the...
Read moreThis was a very unique dining experience. It is truly that small-time diner feel that you yearn for, that is lost as most of America has become so commercialized. The food was amazing - served quickly, perfectly, just as unique as the diner itself. We had cheese curds as an appetizer and while the serving was disappointing (literally one cups worth for 3 people), they were the best cheese curds I've ever had. My dinner choice was a reuben and it certainly did not disappoint. The decor, the music, it was all great. Where the 3 star rating comes in would have to be cleanliness. I'm a people watcher by nature. I can't help it. Sometimes I watch great things happen, sometimes not so great. During the latter half of our dinner, I watched two people (I'm assuming off duty employees) walk in the side door and go through the back - bring food to the counter and eat right there. It seemed unprofessional. I watched the waitress take cash from her bra and give it to a customer. I watched that same waitress go on break outside, come in and go right back to serving orders without washing her hands. I watched another off duty employee with a small child behind the counter, who allowed that small child to climb all over the ice cream freezers. These are things that you don't allow to happen- for that very reason- someone is...

Usually this place is pretty good!
I used to come here about once a week.
Today I brought my sister there so we could get a quick bite to eat, because no matter how much you order you can’t spend over 10 bucks, seriously.
We walked in, seated ourselves, and we were able to order drinks right away.
That’s all we got. My sister and I sat there for 45 minutes, we watched entire episode of Gilmore Girls, and nobody followed up with us.
There were only 3 other groups in the restaurant, one was a couple of older gentleman right next to us, that were talked with several times while we were waiting, a couple of younger gentleman at the counter area, who both of the servers were flirting with while we were waiting, and a younger couple about to leave, and the lady had to get up from her seat to go and ask for a check.
Finally we just left, because they were blatantly ignoring us when we’d try to grab their attention, and they’d go into the back and start eating without washing their hands coming back up.
Definitely say I’m never going there again, because this isn’t the first time it’s happened, but it’s...
