I ordered food on July 4th for delivery to my hotel. When I called, I asked how long it would take for delivery because I knew they were busy, and I was told 45 minutes to an hour at most. I placed my order and I lost track of time and realized that it was 2 hours since I ordered, and still had no pizza. I called and asked where it was and was told that it was already delivered. Well, I knew that wasn’t the case because I had no pizza. They told me to go check at the front desk and I told them that I was paying with cash upon delivery, so I doubt that a pizza was just left there without being paid for. I checked with the front desk anyway, and there was no pizza there just like I thought. I called Glass nickel back and let them know that there was no food delivered at the front desk. They then said that the food they thought was mine that they had already delivered was actually a different customers food at the same hotel, and that my food was now out for delivery. Ok great! Extremely late, but whatever. An hour later I still didn’t have my food. My kids didn’t have their chicken strips or Mac n cheese, I didn’t have my pizzas. So I call back once again, and they have no idea where it is, but one of their delivery drivers was missing. I can’t get replacement food made because the kitchen had just closed. I never got a phone call to let me know this. They could have remade my food and sent it out with another driver, or at least call me and let me know. Nope! Nothing! Not even an apology. I mean, if you know a customer isn’t going to get the food they ordered, don’t you think you should let them know??? About 15 to 20 minutes later, my food ends up showing up, and the delivery driver said it was fresh, so I assumed maybe they were nice and remade my food that I had ordered over 3 hours ago to make the situation right. I pay the driver and take it upstairs, and it was NOT fresh. It was cold, soggy, and old. $56 down the drain. I will never get food from here again, or recommend them to anyone. Terrible...

Ordered the chicken garlic Alfredo with extra spinach and added pineapple plus a shareable salad. Requested that utensils and plates brought because we are in a hotel. They delivered the pizza NOT EVEN CUT, a shareable salad with only ONE FORK, and a ton of red crushed peppers. When I called them to let them know that they just delivered a pizza to us that was not even cut he questioned me first. Then offered to send out a new pie and told me they had an issue at the beginning of the shift and someone gave out the wrong pizza plus my pizza was sitting in a box and no one COULD FIND IT! Then when I took this option to have another pizza sent out cut by them. He stated he would send someone to cut it only???!!!! The pizza was a bit cold so I inquired how long it sat in a box BEING LOST. He stated it was lost but under a warm so it is fine. I explained it still does not help me because I have no way to cut an entire pie without some kind of sharp utensil.
He stated he could send a driver over with a knife because they have catering items. I stated never mind it is going to be even colder if I wait under for a knife to come to my hotel room. He didn't offer to bring another form. So we just used our hands. Ughh!
And no cutting option so we ripped the pizza with our hands as well! This is suppose to be a great restaurant in the area! I think their service is awful and the employees should be retrained on how to handle issues with they arise.
Plus stop making excuses for why you could not cut a pizza!!!! This experience maybe hindered my dining experience; however the food lacked taste and flavor. It was missing something. Could be a typical flavor I could make at home!!! Ughh!!! Plus the service...
Read moreThis was my first time here, being that I’m not from Green Bay (I do visit often as the friends that I went with live in the Green Bay area). I was in town for a Packer game and after the game we stopped at The Glass Nickel. When we first tried to order our drinks, they were out of just about everything we wanted…. Miller lite, bud light, captain Morgan, etc. We didn’t get our drinks for almost 45 minutes (yes, we timed it) and it was not very busy. My friend had to go up to the bar in order for us to get our drinks. The server had explained that her and the bartenders were the only ones on the floor (which we absolutely know that is not their fault and we were as patient as possible). But considering there were not many people there it still seemed like the whole setup was a mess. After getting our first round of drinks it probably took ANOTHER 45 minutes to get our first pizza and a plate of pasta. Then maybe 20 minutes later our other pizza came. Throughout this whole interaction, the table behind us (who was seated before us) hadn’t received their order (which was only one large pizza) until we were ready to leave. I would say there were probably around 20 people or less here at the time. Once we finally finished eating, our bill was way wrong. We were overcharged for things that we had never even received. The server said she gave us a discount after but there was NO DISCOUNT 🥴 the food was good!!! Service needs work all the way around. Server was friendly but there needs to be better systems in place and a bigger staff. ESPECIALLY...
