The food was decent. Service was really friendly but super slow when we came. My wife and daughter had the French toast, which my wife said was really good, but my daughter hated. The drinks were good. We got a Mimosa, a Cat Kicker, a Raspberry Orange Sunrise, and a Kiddie Cocktail. No complaints about the drinks, but nothing amazing either. Our food order took about a half hour to come out, which was a long time for what we ordered. We were also unaware before we arrived that on the weekends they're on a brunch menu until 1:00. We were there about noon, so much of what we identified online before coming was unavailable. My daughter couldn't try the hummus she wanted, which is odd, since there's nothing they'd really need to cook with that one, so it feels rather arbitrary that it's unavailable until later. I got an avocado toast (sans eggs) that was really good with tomatoes and onions. I highly recommend this one. I also got a fruit cup and some potatoes, which were nothing special. Overall, I'd say if you're looking for vegan/vegetarian or kid-friendly options for a weekend breakfast, take a pass on this one. It's definitely better to come when they're not busy and have their full normal menu.

I was a little confused because this just changed over from being called Black cat White dog. I heard it was a good place and wanted to check it out. The ambience was nice and I enjoyed my drink at the bar. Wait staff was very friendly and efficient. The menu is limited but inexpensive so I was eager to try something. I ordered the white fish at the waitresses suggestion. The others in my group got entrĆ©es that came with a salad so I assumed mine had lots of spinach with it already. After watching the others at my table enjoy their salads, but my entrĆ©e came and had like two leaves of spinach. I really didn’t understand. Another in my group ordered the three steaks which were already on potatoes. He was asked what side he wanted and he said potatoes not realizing. So then he got four piles of potatoes. He should’ve read harder but, the waitress might’ve pointed this out as well. Just kind of weird. I wouldn’t return but I can say their food was good and ambience nice so I guess buyer beware and make sure you know what you are getting.

First time here. Easy enough to find from I41. Had an 11 people party for a Saturday brunch.... even though we called ahead, still received a little bit of push back about it... they weren't even really that busy. The waitress was nice, drinks served promptly and efficiently. My food, which I was kind of excited to get was disappointing... biscuits and gravy... was barely warm, had no flavor and it looked like it had been dished up first and set under the warmer. Yes, I get that the table order was large, but still, I'm sure the gravy is premade and in a warming pan, so, it could have been dished up last. Eggs were good and "cafe potatoes" are a fancy name for flat tater tots/baby cakes. Another party member didn't like her food, either. Steak and eggs for the price we paid, a small piece of steak but cooked medium rare as asked. Atmosphere was good and music wasn't too loud. The coffee was good, as were the bloody Mary's. I feel indifferent about returning.

This is a popular restaurant choice for my place of employment but I am not a fan. Last year I had a team meeting and offered to buy all team members lunch (10 of us). I went a few hours in advance with the order written down and gave it to them. The one thing I asked about was the onion dip as I know more than half of the meals people chose had chips as the side. The waitress who took the order said, "What we usually do is give each person a small side dish with the dip." What she didn't mention was that it was an extra $3 PER PERSON for that. I believe I spent $18 just on onion dip.

I picked it up about 2 hours later and brought it to our office. After handing out food we realized an entire meal was missing. I had to go order and then wait for someone's food. Thankfully I had ordered a salad so it didn't matter that my food sat 20 extra minutes (it was gross anyway), but it was very inconvenient for a working lunch. My bill was nearly $200 and I vowed not to go back.

That said, as I first mentioned, it's popular with some of my office mates so I got dragged there today. It's incredibly loud which is not their fault but makes discussion challenging. I ordered the quesadillas which I have seen before. However, I realize now that they've changed their menu (don't use the customer photos!) My quesadillas were $10 and I would be shocked if the 2 tortillas were any bigger than 6 inches. There's not really any seasoning so don't expect much spice or flavor. It's quite literally some very shredded chicken with melted cheese. I don't mind bland, but I did have to come home afterwards and eat something else as I was still hungry. It looked like something from the kids menu. After a soda and tip, I spent $15 for something significantly smaller than a Taco Bell quesadilla. I referred to it as Barbie Dream House sized.

The waitress was nice, but very busy. There were 4 of us and we had separate checks. The other 3 were abe to pay using their phones and the QR code but she messed up my bill twice and I ended up having to use my card to pay with her instead. Everyone else was pleased enough, but they got correct bills and grown...

I have been raving about the eggs benedict here for years. Though my last two brunch stops have been disappointing.

The second to last time my poached eggs were overcooked to soft boiled, which still had a little bit of runny yolk. I didn't think much of it, considering the positive past experiences.

This last time, today, the poached eggs were overcooked to hard boiled. I decided to let my server know when she came back around 10 minutes after another brought out our food. She was kind, apologized (not her fault, and I'm sure the kitchen was very busy), and she said she'd have it fixed. She walks away leaving the plate infront of me with my two cut open hard boiled eggs. I was alittle perplexed leaving the plate.

Then 10-15 minutes later she comes back and sets a small bowl with 2 perfectly poached eggs in next to me. Ok.. I scraped my hollandaise covered hard boiled eggs off, and fished the poached eggs out of the small bowl to place atop the cold ham and English muffin. Which had very little cold hollandaise left on it. I tried one bite and was just done with it.

The server was kind enough to take it off my bill, and had no answer when I asked why she didn't take the plate back to the kitchen to just have them take the hard boiled eggs off, keep the plate warm while they redid the eggs, and throw on two new poached eggs with hollandaise. I said it was wierd to just come back with this little bowl with 2 poached eggs in it. It was just funny and confusing at the same time.

I'm sure it was just busy, and she was running around nonstop for 3 hours prior to our arrival. God bless her, she still got 15%. The vodka coffee, "Daily Buzz", was...

Sorry no. I was told be several people to visit here because the food was good and the service was great. Well I never got to the food. Ordered a cocktail, gin and tonic and got well not really sure. No fizz at all and I had to ask for garnish. So on the next go around I thought get a beer, can't mess that up. Asked what they had and was given a beer drinks menu and my food menu was confiscated. Apparently you allowed only one menu at a time. Well good thing for me I saw a beer I knew in the cooler that was not on the beer menu so I asked for that. It has a cat's foot print on the bottle. A Black foot print and the bar keep had to ask someone else where it was. So my date and I had a Crispy shrimp appetizer and it was good. But to get service at the bar was like pulling teeth. The folks sitting to my right and left were also getting impatient. I hear the bar keep say how slammed busy they are but it wasn't. Coming from the food and bar business this place was not close to being slammed. We asked for a table and I had to cash out at the bar. No worries I get that. Then I got the bar tab. Was charged for a Captain and coke for a diet Coke. What the heck is going on here. We waited for our table with no drinks and no one came to get us, and that was all I could take. We walked out the door. Good Bye. Really we tried to give them a chance. Maybe the bar keep was new but what the heck. Very disappointed. So then I started reading reviews on Yelp and Four Square. All the rave is their breakfast. No one talked about their dinners. Look for yourself. I am sorry I cannot recommend. And I will tell others what...
