I got my first visit to the Meyer this weekend, now that things are starting to open up. I was excited to see the beautiful byzantine movie palace motif that brought me back to a bygone era. My friends from Green Bay explained it’s interesting history to me. Coming from Milwaukee, it reminded me a bit of our Riverside theater. It was smaller than I thought and the lobby not large either, but a very beautiful little theater with good acoustics. Unlike Milwaukee, you can actually park and walk to the theater I’m not too far away. Lots of options.

The staff is very friendly and helpful. The venue was great for the concert we attended. The acoustics are awesome and we felt our seats were fantastic for the experience. They have 2 bars which is helpful during intermission and we felt the prices were reasonable for it being a concert venue. $8 for a double jack and coke. We will definitely be back and if you get the chance to attend a concert here, do it you won't be sorry.

This ornate renovated 1930's era events theater seats 1,000 and offers ADA event tickets and elevator access. It is conveniently located located in downtown Green Bay at the corner S. Washington one block east of the Walnut St bridge. Park for free after 6am on weekdays and all day all day Saturday and Sunday in the Cherry Street Ramp across the street at 202 Cherry St.

It has a good atmosphere with the sky painting an design around the theater. But you can see most noticeably the chipping paint and material around the front ceiling of the theater it badly needs to be re-done.

It's frustrating trying to buy tickets for any shows. There's no way to choose seating and if you want to sit together with someone the seating is deceiving for example row K seats 1 and 3. A normal person would assume there's an empty seat between these two no they're next to each other. The seats themselves are all very visible to the stage which is a plus but they're small and cramped. I was not comfortable at all.

The staff who direct people to their seats really need to replace their standard white flash light with a red or blue light. Especially after the show starts. Several times the usher shined his light in my eyes while trying to show others to their seat after the show had started.

Their concession line for alcohol was very long and most people were standing in line on the stairs, how is this safe?

I've not been to this theater much in the past but I recently went to Hard Bodies the show was poorly run with the director constantly have contestants come onto stage then having them go back and then calling them back out for rewards. Having people during people's demonstrations running on and off stage to get the judges food and beverages. Miss Green Bay who's talent was supposed to be violin missing several notes making me cringe during the national anthem. The comedian Steve Treviño who started off with this other guy who made tasteless racist jokes and the show which itself started almost 10 minutes late. Treviño was funny the the organization of this theater...

We rented the theater for our wedding ceremony and the backstage for our reception. They let us set up early, which I did not expect at all and it made things very easy. Samantha listened to our ideas and made them all possible. The space is beautiful and historic and we were so fortunate to be able to have our wedding there. It was very easy to work with their AV technician for sound during the ceremony. Backstage was perfect and was able to transform from a seated dinner to an amazing dance floor. The accommodations were amazing. The only thing I would retract from was a couple of mix ups with dietary restrictions. One of my guests with a nut allergy was given a plate with nuts, and then the dietary restriction meals came around, after she already ate the plate containing nuts. This guest ended up having to go to the emergency room. Backstage did remove the cost of that plate from our invoice, but I wish the mix up did not happen in the...

We were expecting to see a beautiful celebration to honor the birth of our savior, Jesus Christ. A mockery of our Lord Jesus was apparent. One of the commentators even referred to Jesus as a brat. We spent over 150.00 on these tickets and left as soon as the drapes closed for a break. The music was not familiar Christmas Carols. If you are a Christian do not waste your time and money. I would identify it as sac-religious. To refer to the christ child as a brat was enough. They did not show the manger or respecting his birth in ANY WAY. Ruined our family tradition to honor the birth of our Jesus Christ. IF YOU HONOR OUR LORD JESUS CHRIST, do not attend...
