After moving to Bellevue in November, this has been one of my favorite restaurants. So I hate having to write this review as I do like the food a bunch. First, the website has no descriptions, and no chicken area outside the combination area, so you don't really know if you're ordering just a chicken order or a combination order. But it doesn't matter because even when we order egg rolls by themselves we don't get them. Seriously, several orders now and no egg rolls. The website will also not tell you when to expect your order for pickup and their status does not reflect the true status accurately. We also consistently have our rice choice messed up. Several times we've received white rice instead of the ordered fried rice. I've exercised a lot of tolerance as I do enjoy the food, but we've grown tired of the continued mistakes. The straw that broke the camels back came with the last two order pickups. I get there and go into the store, am greeted buy a young guy who takes my name and that is it. I give him my name, he checks like one order, maybe two, on the table, and is IMMEDIATELY distracted by some other person in there, and I'm nothing but a lost memory, standing around like a jerk and it is not appreciated. It's so rude it makes my blood boil. And as I wait there minute after minute after minute without any checkback, my order is actually sitting on the table getting cold. Both times I waited until the area was basically cleared before somebody finally gets back to me to simply hand me my order that was on the waiting table the whole time. Food was there waiting before I even entered the place. I have no more tolerance for Green Tea and they've lost a customer until that worthless...

Picked up some food to go with my girlfriend the other night. I appreciate the convenience of a drive thru. The girl working there was friendly and helpful. Also really like that they have coupons if you spend a certain amount. We got pork lo mein, orange chicken, sweet sour chicken, an egg roll, and they had a coupon for a free crab rangoon. The sweet sour chicken was pretty good, big portion! The red sauce was a little too sour though, but still good. The pork lo mein was straight up not good, girlfriend didn't even want it after one bite. Weird noodle choice for lo mein, they did not use lo mein noodles but flat wider noodles that weren't great. I don't know if it was the pork or what, but the whole dish had a weird 'reheated meat' off taste, not sure how to describe it other than that. Definitely can't recommend that one. The orange chicken was kind of dry and overcooked inside, and the sauce was tasty but I wish they would add less of the pepper seeds. They are unpleasant to eat, and there's plenty of other ways to add spiciness. They also have orange zest strips in the sauce which is great for flavor but extremely unpleasant to actually eat. I wouldn't recommend this either. The egg roll was fine, just a classic premade sort of type. The crab rangoons are very good if you like a TON of cream cheese. And I mean a lot. I appreciate it but they actually could've used a little less filling, but they were free so I can't really complain. The fried rice that came with our food was better than expected. Overall I think this place is decent if you know what to order.

TLDR: I recommend the sweet sour chicken, fried rice, crab rangoons and maybe the egg roll. Would NOT recommend the orange chicken...

Ordered via DoorDash: I ordered a few different things to try because I LOVE Asian food & could use them as left overs when needed. Risky? Yes! Worth it? Also, yes!

Spring rolls: A little small but full of flavor. Crispy, loaded and not oily! So good in fact, I couldn't stop myself from eating them long enough to get a picture (sorry)

Steamed Dumplings: Huge, full of cooked pork (unlike ANY I've ever had), flavorful, not at all salty. Massive serving

Chicken Mei Fun: A typically salty & oily dish, it wasn't either one of those from here! It's a very clean dish that allows you to taste the noodles, celery, chicken and egg. No one flavor drowns out the others for a wonderful, flavor filled experience. Again, massive serving

Orange Chicken: Ok, so all of the other items were absolutely fantastic BUT their orange chicken was by far, the BEST I've ever had! The serving like all the others, are massive. The first thing I noticed was that it wasn't sugary sweet but pleasantly like oranges that were kissed with nice, spicy peppers. The sauce stuck to the chicken and paired well with the rice. The chicken managed to stay crispy in the sauce and the broccoli was cooked perfectly. To my surprise, it had ACTUAL orange peel in it (yes, I pulled them from the bottom for the pic).

In short: 5 stars and the price...

Today my husband was so sweet and brought my favorite meal from Green Tea, steamed beef and veggies, to work. As I ate I noticed something in one of my pieces of meat. I thought it might be a spice so I took it out to look closer only to discover a bug (see pictures below). I called my husband right away and asked him to call the restaurant and tell them about it as I was swamped at work. First he called and the guy who answered did not believe him and told my husband he had to bring the dish to show them. He picked up the food and drove across town to prove there was a bug in my food. When he arrived, showed the bug and showed the zoomed in picture of the bug, the guy at the restaurant said it wasn't a bug. Below shows how I packed everything so it was clear what was found and the piece of meat it found in. My husband asked for his money back and said he was taking the meal with to look for more bugs. The guy accused him of lying and trying to get a free meal. After I got home, I looked and didn't find any more. Between finding the cooked bug and the way the restaurant handled the situation, we will not be returning to Green Tea
