Best experience of our lives! That's not an expression either. My family and I (5 of us) showed up 15 minutes before closing and instead of getting the usual disgruntled attitude we were expecting or use to, we were warmly greeted and ever so kindly catered to. We had promised that we would quickly get our food and eat it so we could leave as soon as possible after eating if they would allow us to come in and eat. The woman behind the counter agreed and then even gave us a discount due to the short amount of time we had. The staff then showered us with the utmost kindness & generosity as they insisted we fill our plates and take what we couldn't eat there home with us. Further, they continued to fill our table with food and insisted still that we take it home if we couldn't eat. And even though we proposed that we hurry our meal when we got there, the kind hostess encouraged us not to rush, but to enjoy ourselves as the staff would wait for us. I have honestly never experienced such hospitality, kindness & generosity at a restaurant before, especially right before closing time! Needless to say, we took a lot of food home with us and I just hope we left a big enough tip to express our most sincerest gratitude for the experience & service we were provided! Oh! Also, our 1 yr old son was so graciously gifted a Chinese pig piggy bank! Just the cutest thing ever & completely unexpected!! I recommend this place 1000+%. We look forward to eating here again at a more appropriate time during their business hours because on top of the service, the food was EXCELLENT!! If it was that good at closing time, I can only imagine how great it is at the regular dinner time😁 Thank you China Buffet for giving us our best restaurant experience of our...
Read moreSo this place isn't terrible or anything, but honestly it's just.. Not great? For $17 for the dinner buffet, I'd much rather go somewhere nicer. If you're looking to fill up on mediocre food, you could definitely do worse, but.. I wouldn't go back here, personally. Here's the items I would recommend: wonton soup (broth is great), chicken on wooden skewers, chicken with mushrooms, fried chicken pieces with peppers, broasted chicken legs, soft serve ice cream and layered chocolate mocha cake (this was the best part of my meal). Any other fried and sauced chicken pieces were mediocre, rangoons (usually a favorite) weren't great. Fried rice was decent, actually, but they keep it in a rice cooker to stay warm so it isn't very noticable, I think a lot of people missed it. Sushi all looked the same and it didn't get refilled, so I didn't even bother trying it but girlfriend said it wasn't great. For a dinner buffet price, they should've had a better seafood selection or something. I like that I could just go get my own drink. Wish they air conditioned the place better, also. Staff was...
Read moreJust average at best. No one could speak English while I was there. I got there at 12:45. I saw review saying “This is the best place ever and sooo many choices”. It is 9.50 for the buffet(lunch) egg rolls are huge but all cabbage. A lot of things they were out of. I was there a long time(over and hour while I worked on some things), and nothing got replaced The General Taos chicken was just so so.
They had a sausage pizza there. It looked like absolutely gross. Like it sat since they opened. They had one chicken wing left when I got there. One piece of chicken on a stick. No pot stickers left. All that was there was old.and well.... gross. Save your money and go to some place that will feed you with quality food and you will pay close to the same as this place.
I will never go back to this place. The only reason I gave this place 2 stars is the two ladies that didn’t understand a word I was saying we’re very kind and got me my soda right away. But seriously, neither two couldn’t understand anything I...
