For the manager at Perkins on East Mason Street in Green Bay tonight. I wish I had grabbed your name (we checked out at 8:14 pm, June 3, 2019) so I could put it in this review. But kudos to you and if I ever open another restaurant I would be lucky to have you.
Too often we only post the negative reviews. My son and I stopped in for dinner tonight at his request. No problems at all with my food, but he ordered a specialty burger, the BBQ one and was served a plain cheeseburger. Amy was our waitress and when she came around we brought it up, and she did talk to the cook. I will be honest I was a little miffed they didn't make him the burger he wanted, but instead was given a side plate with the missing ingredients. So he did have to try to piece together the burger he ordered and it wasn't quite the same.
But no worries, he said it was fine and didn't complain. And we didn't blame the waitress. She tried, we just had a lazy cook. So we were just going to leave it.
As we went to check out the manager was cashing us out, and without us saying anything apologized and took a few dollars off our bill. I'm assuming he just charged us for a plain cheeseburger. I told him it was fine, but he insisted.
So again, I'm sorry I didn't make the effort to get his name. And the meal was fine anyway. But I want to thank that manager anyway for going above and beyond to satisfy us, even though we hadn't complained. That is the type of manager every restaurant wishes they had. And because of that, we will...

I said..likel old grease and then some. She said no. I almost (lost is right there). Ok..we asked for extra time to order. Was left a little too long. Got a new coffee and fresh cream..cold. Their expiration dates on the creamer. Use them people! And on a busy Saturday to boot. We were annoyed but forgiving. We saw 6 booths come and go.....eating there food mind you. Read moreMy mother and I went here for dinner on Week-day night, around 6:00pm. It wasn’t very busy, but it seemed under staffed. Our host and waitress apologized for making us wait, which was nice.
We ordered the HIBACHI GRILLED SHRIMP - Teriyaki-glazed grilled shrimp, stir-fried with red bell peppers, red onions and broccoli, all served on garlic butter rice. 690 cal. It was ok, small amount of sauce, but had flavor. Perfect portion to finish meal without leftovers.
We also ordered the STEAK & PEPPERS - USDA steak tips* with tender red bell peppers, grilled red onions, crimini mushrooms and a rich beef gravy served over homestyle seasoned potatoes. 800 cal. This was overall just ok. The steak Was more like smashed pieces of hamburger which was disappointing. The gravy was very salty and tasted pre-made. Some of the peppers tasted raw like they were only cooked for a minute. I wish they were cooked more. Potatoes were good.
The atmosphere was ok, the front entry way and overall seating is starting to look a little dated and run down, I would recommend it being updated to keep up with the times. The menu is basic American cuisine if you like that, I’m sure you would like...
