Champions Grille — Restaurant in Green Township

Visiting Champions at least one a month, I've never been seriously disappointed until now. I recommend and normally order the Build Your Own Burger. On this visit I was looking forward to the new Lenten Menu and ordered the Pollack Basket for $8.29. The basket consisted of 8 tiny fish nuggets and 3 hush puppies. ... The equivalent of a Happy Meal. The lightly battered nuggets were small enough that it was difficult to discern the fish flavors from the batter. Measuring a whopping 3/4 of an inch each, the biggest joke of the night was the 3 marble sized hush puppies. The consensus at the table was "I've never seen a hush puppy that small" They were also RAW. Our server did manage to get 3 more properly cooked marbles. Nothing comes with the basket so I was fortunate to have ordered a side of onion straws for another $6. The food was a bust, but the beer choices: 3 Floyd's, Scotch Ale and Westside's DoppelBock were spot on.

Recently rediscovered this gem of a bar and grill. It is located in an older strip mall and can be overlooked but don't drive by. Inside it is a fairly typical sports bar set up with a lot of high top tables.They have Keno and a couple of arcade games, free popcorn and an outdoor patio. But it is the burgers and Empress chili you come for. Amazing hand pattied fresh ground beef with just about any topping you can imagine. And they don't stop there. Get the perfectly done crinkle cut fries or home made onion strings as your side. Not in the mood for a burger? Get the Cincinnati style chili AND have a beer too. Lots of draft beer selections and some signature...

Was a disappointing visit. Usually good food, fast service and a fair price. Today was an entirely different experience. We ordered two beers plus our food. Two beers gone and no food yet. Ordered two more beers and the food finally arrives as we are finishing the next round of beers. My wife waited 45 for a turkey club with cold fries and I waited 55 minutes for a warm chilli 5 way. When asked to speak with a manager about the delay we were told no manager was on duty during the dinner rush. Hopefully this is not a...
