We ordered take out last night, and the service we received after our order was incorrect was pretty appalling. My husband asked for the regular pizza sauce on the stuffed pizza since he doesn't like the chunky sauce. Chunky sauce was on the pizza. The 2nd pizza was supposed to be full pepperoni, with sausage, mushrooms, and onion on half. It came with full pepperoni, sausage on one half, mushroom on the other half, and no onion. We called and they offered to make the pizzas again, we told them to just make the one with pepperoni and none of the other toppings, and just a container of regular pizza sauce for the stuffed pizza and we'd just scrape off the chunky sauce. I go to pick it up and the container of sauce is about halfway full, so I brought it to the counter and asked for another container since the one I received wasn't full. The girl takes the container from me, I tried to tell her she could just leave it but she ignored me and kept walking back to the kitchen. Brought out the 2nd container and the other one completely full and wanted to charge me. I told her I wasn't paying for it because 1.) it was their screw up and I had to drive back to pick it up, and 2.) I didn't even get the other toppings on my second pizza - just pepperoni. She kept arguing with me about how they only messed up one pizza, and so finally I just took out my wallet because I just wanted to go home and eat, but I let her know that I thought it was ridiculous. She said, "Whatever, just take it. I'm not going to argue with you over sauce." So I replied with, "You literally just were?" and she said, "whatever, bye!" After this experience, I'm not sure we'll ever be back. Every time we come in to eat, the kitchen never gets the stuffed pizza correct the way we ask for it, and the rest of the food was just OK last night. Not worth the money to be disappointed every single...
Read moreWe ordered a large werks pizza, which is basically a supreme and added xtra-cheese. They quoted 25 min and about 25 bucks. It was hot and ready when my fiance picked it up, was still hot about 15 min later. I will be 100% honest, its good pizza, but nothing special. Now that doesnt mean anything bad, its just nothing I would travel an hour for. (if I had to) The reg, not stuffed, pizza is a basic hand tossed kinda pizza, sauce was good, topping were good (there was alot of meat and cheese), might have been a lil heavy handed with the green peppers, but the ton of meat and extra cheese helped that. The toppings seems to be more towards the middle 2/3 of the pizza and much less towards the outer edge. Now it is an edge to edge pizza, so no crust, but that is not a deal breaker. Due to the amount of veg and meat, there was a TON of water and some grease from all the toppings, but we at efast enough to not have to worry about soggy pizza. Any leftovers will have to sit on some heavy duty paper towels to sop up all that liquid, before you pack it up for the fridge.
Price was acceptable, as it was a good pizza. My fiance said that she would want this over the big chain pizza places and some of the smaller local ones as well. This seems to be one of the places that CAN beat the HUT! lol All in all,...
Read moreA bit torn on my feelings here. The stuffed pizza is 5/5, but all my other experiences and the service have been 2-3 on a good day. The good: the stuffed pizza is really good. Quality cheese and “toppings” are the highlights. The sauce and crust are better than average, but not anything to write home about. The house salad, yes the simple free salad with entrees is great, and love the garlic dressing. The last time I got it, it was washed and not spun dry, so had a soupy mess, but it’s overall very fresh and was good quality. The ehh- none of the regular crust pizzas are to my liking. The crust is ok super fresh, but you don’t want to save any leftovers. Again, the sauce is just ok, and most the toppings I had on specialty pies weren’t that good. The ugly- sadly the pastas and red sauce just taste like my niece made them. Bland over cooked pasta, sauce that easily could be out of a can, and the “house made” sausage and meatballs really make me wonder whose house they were made at. The service in my couple experiences was bad as well. I don’t think it is necessarily always not great service, but my younger server the last couple visits was very inattentive and didn’t enjoy any...
