Willie's Sports Cafe — Restaurant in Green Township

I was told by the cook if I did a review that he would sue me !!! Waited 45 minutes for the food The Mac and cheese for the child was so dry she wouldn’t eat it .. Blackened Chicken Alfredo had cinnamon on it. We told the server and she said he won’t remake it would you like something else the server brought the seasoning out and poured it on our table !! We asked to speak to a manager and the cook came out. He came straight to our table and let us know that he is a certified chef !!! That he makes more money that all of us put together and that we can pay the bill and leave. We were in shock disbelief that this was happening. I told him to get away from us. He pulled his phone out and got directly in our faces saying that we will never be allowed to come back !!! I started screaming at him to get away from us. We had children with us. . He talked oddly and slow. He was shaking. It was so unpleasant. The front of the house manager said we can leave and not to worry about the bill The cook came up and said I’m his boss !! As we were leaving he was following us through the restaurant ami kept telling him to stop following us. The kids were scared it’s was so upsetting. There were employees standing in front of him trying to stop him from following us outside He had his phone up recording and saying some very odd things to us. So he followed us outside. Got behind my daughters car recording her license plate calling the police on us when he is the one that attacked us. !! The police came talked to us .. But when the police was talking to us the cook kept coming outside saying things then. Gave us a very weird look and flipped us off !!! Not only that he can’t cook at all his behavior is uncomfortable and odd !!! We were trespassed from there because of him attacking us. This place will not be around long with this type of behavior …. No one to reach out to about this situation. ...

We've been going to this Willie's for about 7 years now and are very satisfied with our favorite foods. Their Buffalo Chicken Dip is DELICIOUS! I love the Fajita's--they come out sizzling & it's more than enough to stuff you or to have leftovers! There are times when the food isn't consistent, but that will happen when people call in & someone else has to cook or a new cook is still learning the menu. OH... their Grouper Sandwich on sub bun with the red pepper dressing is one of the best fish sandwiches I've had! AND I LOVE SEAFOOD! The Sneaky Pete Sandwich, Hawaiian Chicken, cheeseburgers, loaded potato soup and loaded waffle fries are a few other items we've enjoyed over the year! Their draft selection is HUGE & they have a nice selection of flavored liquor if you're into that kind of thing!

The atmosphere is nice and cozy with TV's everywhere. The back patio is large & a nice place to sit if you smoke or if you want to enjoy the weather! There is ample parking around the entire restaurant.

We know some of the staff & have a fun relationship with a couple! We have gotten to know the owner a bit & she is a great lady. She tries to make sure her customers are happy! If you ever have an issue be sure to let her know & she will address it.

Food made my family sick immediately after eating. I took my family from out of town to Willie's for dinner. I have partake on there food many times in the past 3 years since moving on this side of town. But, yesterday was the worst experience there. The similar things we had was the fries(tasted funny off top), loaded waffle fries with queso cheese w/ranch. Salad all with ranch dressing, mac& cheese and chicken wings w/ranch. One of the items in one of these made my family sick. My daughter and sister couldnt get all the way out the door before they had to reenter Willie's and attack there bathroom. As we rode just down the street to Ultra beauty it got to my mother. Where i had to race home and she could barely get in my house to get to the bathroom. Then my 1 year old neice had an accident, my sister had it coming from both ends following. Ive became sick Following after them. When i called Willie's and spoke to the manager she had every excuse to why it wasnt the food, very rude, unattentive to the concern and extremely unsympathetic and basically said it wasnt due to the food. Whereas my mother, sister, nor myself had eaten all day. I dont think I will be given Willie's my business again. I would say to be careful with choosing them for a local business there're not friendly and I hope it wasn't due to our race. $150 dollars...
