Aracri's Greentree Inn Restaurant — Restaurant in Green Tree

My husband and I went here for the first time for our 10th anniversary. I’ve driven by every day to and from work since we moved to Greentree (until I got to work from home but never forgot about the place). The food and service was amazing so we took my parents tonight for their anniversary along with my aunt. Zucchini app was fantastic, super crispy. The oil in the fryer is definitely kept clean and fresh. Chicken Parm was awesome and I’m very picky. Service was outstanding. When we were leaving my husband went to the owner/mgr and told him how great everything was again tonight. Owner/mgr responded that he remembered him (my husband) from our previous visit and appreciated the positive feedback and phone call to the restaurant. The food was horrible! I am surprised by all the great reviews. I ordered the New York Strip and shrimp scampi. Ordered the steak medium rare and it came out medium. The waitress brought another one out and it was medium rare. However, this was the thinnest New York strip I have had. There was no seasoning whatsoever on the steak and the texture of the steak led me to believe they microwave their food. My friends ordered meatballs with rigatoni and linquini with clam sauce. Their food also seemed to be microwaved and it tasted meh. Going back to my steak, it also came with sautéed mushrooms. One bite of these mushrooms and I knew immediately they were not fresh but the kind that come in a jar or can! Stay away from this place unless you like...

There was a short wait at the beginning as we waited for a table, we were served within 10 minutes, our server suggested that we have their veel with wine sauce and a Ceasar vinegarette paired with a Ménage à Trois red wine that went amazingly well together. Meanwhile my old man had the spotted trout with the sautéed spinach both were the best meal we've had while in state and it didn't break the bank either.
