I recently went through the drive-through at this McDonald’s and had a very disappointing and unprofessional experience. When I reached the cashier, she was actively on a FaceTime call while taking my debit card, which immediately struck me as unprofessional.
At the food window, I politely asked to speak with a manager and simply mentioned that the cashier was on FaceTime during the transaction. Shortly after, the cashier and another employee approached and openly identified me as “the one that complained.” The cashier then stared at me in an intimidating manner. When I asked what she was doing, she raised her voice and said, “I’m not doing this tonight.”
Another worker then aggressively came to the window and yelled at me, “You got your food, right? Then leave.” I was stunned and sat for a moment, only for him to repeat himself even louder before slamming the drive-through window shut in a very hostile way.
This entire interaction was unprofessional, disrespectful, and left me feeling extremely uncomfortable. Customers should never be treated this way for calmly bringing up a concern. I hope management takes this seriously and addresses the behavior of...
Read moreI frequent this McDonald's location on my way to/from work, due to its convenient location. Walking into McDonald's, I don't expect fine dining, just a nice burger and fries or some coffee in the morning. Every single time I enter this restaurant, I am greeted by rude staff, cold food, and a generally bad atmosphere. The one girl that works the front counter in the mornings is always hurried and rude, yelling at her coworkers in front of customers and arguing with elderly customers about their orders. When someone's order is ready, she slams it on the front counter, without even stating what the order is or who it belongs to. The afternoon/night staff are not much better. They are rarely polite, and try to hurry me through my order (especially in the drive thru), and act annoyed when I want to add something. I have worked in fast food before, I know it can be a stressful job, but this place is overrun by rude teenagers who work in FOOD SERVICE yet can't be bothered to want to serve customers. The general manager of this store is very polite and nice, but that may be a bad thing as she seems to have no control over her employees. This location gives...
Read moreDo not eat there. The "manager" or as I saw her the middle aged black woman with the worst attitude couldn't handle hanging signs up saying the store was closing early. When questioned on why it looked like they were Pretending to be closed she got extremely rude and defensive. When asked for the General managers she quite smugly said we don't have one we have an owner. I asked for the owners name and contact information she refused to give me it say g I was rude and have a bad attitude.
Sounds like she just won employee of the month.
How can anyone expect an hourly employee to be courgeous to customers when management can't even manage to remember basic courtesies like thank you and have a nice day. Or the appropriate one in this situation:
I am sorry that I lied to you and told you we were closed because of the construction work that is being done this evening that was not actually being done.
I am also sorry that I did not do the bare minimum that would be expected of a real manager at any other business, and hang a sign up Indictating a temporary change in hours and an apology to our valued customers for any Inconvenience this may have...
