Went to this Dairy Queen a couple weeks ago and we went into the dining room to get blizzards to go. We were ignored by the employees as we were waiting to order and then had someone step in front of us. No big deal- they didn’t know we were waiting to order however the employee rudely said to us “did they just cut you in line??” That comment made the other guest very unhappy and made the situation very uncomfortable for all of us.
The staff seems to be exclusively high school age students that don’t care about service, the quality of their food/ice cream, or their appearance. Their shirts are often dirty and covered in blizzard splatter (that clearly has been there for a while). They’re busy talking and messing around and often don’t take care of customers or the dining area. It is frequently trashed with sticky, messy tables.
Today was the last straw. We went through the drive thru and ordered 2 blizzard and 1 food item. When we got to the window we paid, received the food item and only one blizzard. They didn’t ring in the second blizzard which was supposed to be cotton candy so when we asked for it, the girl at the window went and made it. She handed it to us and we left. We got home and the “cotton candy” blizzard was just rainbow sprinkles mixed up in ice cream 🤢 and the food item was the wrong size.
We live just a few minutes away from this one so often give it a chance but at this point we will make the drive to canal Fulton. The service and quality is always better. Don’t waste your money...

I walked in once and although the staff was all laughing and having a great time (that's good) I stood unnoticed for 15mins while 4 staff members made their own food and food for other staff members. When I was finally greeted after watching 6 members pass by I attempted to makemy order of chicken strips basket with gravy (only reason I came) toast and fries, queso and bacon on my fries, and a banana split no pine apple w fudge instead, and a blizzard. It was 8:20 pm and they closed at 9pm. They were out of gravy, queso, and strawberry topping for my sundae. The topping wasn't their fault. However, the queso and gravy they were only out of because they didn't want to make anymore for the night. Hours of operation are hours of OPERATION. All menu items should be available to customers until close if in inventory and unless otherwise stated on the menu they won't be at certain times. At 1st the shift manager was rude but after realizing I was Very unhappy to get a banana split with only fudge.. no gravy.. and no queso and bacon on my fries she finally offered a discount. I believe the night management is too young for the position. It takes a certain level of maturity to manage. The crew was having a great time but the customer went unnoticed amd ended up unhappy having to drive 10 miles to another one to get the gravy she wanted because she was pregnant...
Read moreI have spent a lot of money in this establishment. My husband and I have had many "dates" here. I am such a true fan of DQ that I have even bought MANY gift cards for my clients and others from here. Having said all of this, I can't tell you how disappointed I am since the new owners took over. The changes have been so evident that I figured out for myself that it had been sold. I.E. The change in personnel and seeing that the work station has been very messy most times I have patronized this establishment. Although the servers have been polite, the service seems slower and not as organized than with the previous owners. Today, I had a yen for a malted milkshake plus I had downloaded a DQ app. Since I had never gotten to use it, I asked at the counter how it works to which I was told that this franchise doesn't participate in it because they don't have the scanner to do so and probably won't have it in the near future. . I then order my shake anyway, paid for it only to find out afterward that they were out malt powder. What??? Such a simple ingredient and they don't have it? Due to my overall disappointment, I requested a refund. Green is such lovely community that I just expect to have a better overall experience than this. At this point, I am not sure I want to return and it bums me out because as I tried to convey, I am a TRUE DQ fan and this is the closest one to my office...
