Papa Gyros — Restaurant in Green

I have been to Papa Gyro's in Uniontown, OH about 4 or 5 times. I had been holding myself from leaving negative reviews, as people working there may be having rough days some times. However, after experiencing bad attitudes and rude responses from the waiter (David), I decided to go ahead and post this review, as no customer should tolerate/accept this type of behavior.

The first couple times I went there, I had a few questions about the menu. David seemed bothered by my questions, based on the condescending manner and tone that he used to respond.

In my last visit (on 5/3/2019), I would wave at him a couple of times to try to get his attention to ask for common things you ask from a waiter, such as a drink refill. Even though he saw me, he pretended like he didn't see me. Because of this, I would call him politely to make sure he noticed that I was calling him. He would respond in a rude manner and aggresive tone, which really made me upset. I can understand when a waiter is busy and can't get to you right away. However, the most reasonable response from a waiter (based on my past experience as one), would be to acknowledge that you noticed the customer's 'call' and indicate that you will be there in a minute, not just ignore the customer, and be upset if the customer calls you.

I have gone to this location for 4 or 5 times in about 3 years, as the food is good, and it is conveniently located for me. I do not understand why a restaurant would keep a waiter with this attitude for this long, which makes me think he is either the owner, or a manager. This is probably why he can get away treating customers like this.

I wholeheartedly hope David can overcome whatever is bothering him, and that he can learn and understand that customers are not responsible or a scapegoat to 'vent' whatever frustrations he may be...

The food was delicious. There was 2 others at my table and they loved their food as well. What caused me to deduct 2 stars, was 2 things. First, the server mixed up foods - I got the lesser dish but was still charged the higher price even tho I didn't get to enjoy it - and it was clear she couldn't care less. She in NO way offered to make it right - she was basically was like, oh well it happens. Second, on this day there was two ladies sitting on the patio outside and they had their dogs with them and I overheard the server inside making rude comments about them and essentially saying they shouldn't have their dogs... outside... on the patio.. while still giving her business. As a dog owner who takes my dog to a lot of a places and respectfully eats on a patio if no signs or eats in my car, this was a huge turn off. They were originally told they couldn't even order or have their dogs there with them, and the lady commented the other location had no issues. Eventually the server let it go - but it was VERY rude. No one had complained about the dogs while they waited to order and the dogs were very quiet. Had the server insisted, we would have canceled our order and left right after in support of them. Placed a take out order at 100 to be picked up at 430. I was there on time but half the order wasn't there. Waited for 30 minutes and asking how much longer before someone from the kitchen yelled she was working in it. Finally my order was complete but the food that was sitting there when I got there was then cold. I asked for it to be taken off my order and was told the manager would be in later and would just refund my card for the food that was cold or they could reheat it. I asked for it to be removed since I didn't want to wait any longer. I have been there once before and the food was great. This time I got two gyros and a gyro platter. The one gyro had more onions than meat and the other gyro had very little sauce. While waiting the staff in the kitchen was very loud and very disorganized. Too many online orders at once. When I told one of the ladies there I had placed my order several hours earlier so I didn't have to wait she told me the staff never gave her my order otherwise she would have had it ready.
