Well absolutely terrible. First we get there and everything is okay. All of a sudden they have a live singer who's literally got the volume like all the way up. The whole time it sounded like someone was screaming in my ear. Then they bring out our food at all separate times. They messed up my wife's order, probably because the music was too loud and the waiter couldn't hear what we were ordering. We waited almost 20 minutes and all of our food was out and her food still didn't show. Finally we had to flag down the manager to see where her food was. We finally got it. They messed it up however and brought her an extra item. We brought it to the attention of the manager and he said okay no problem. Then we got the bill after again having to flag them down and walk and get a waiter to pay attention to us. They charged us for the extra item, as the waiter was charging the card I realized this and told her that they charged his extra she looked at me like I was lying to her and proceeded to charge the card. On the way out I told the manager that we were overcharged and he said okay well we'll just fix it next time. Well there won't be a next time because this place was absolutely terrible. Highly recommend avoiding if you want any kind of service. It wasn't cheap either for regular Mexican food for four people it was over $120. This experience ruined our night out...

If you’re non Hispanic, stay away. Upon arriving, the waitress gladly went to sit us down but when we told her we were ordering to go she told us we could not sit down and had to stand and wait in front. I got a little upset so she told us to sit at a table and proceeded to hand only my husband a menu. She then walked off and I had to get up and get my own. A waiter then returned to take our order and another gentleman came with chips and salsa and the waiter told him no, they’re ordering to go they’re not no allowed to have any. I said well why not leave it I’ll pay for it that’s fine he said no it’s not permitted. We continued to order; which we shouldn’t have, and spent $157 on take out for our family and was told to wait 20-25 mins. So when customers spend that much money and have to wait that long they’re treated like garbage. We come her often and this is the first time we were treated this way and it will be the last. We will not be returning. Plenty of other good taco places around, we do not need to spend our hard earned money at a venue that treats us so poorly. Honestly we threw the food in the trash as we cannot trust that they did not spit in our children’s food, given the nasty attitudes they...

Nice and spacious location on Lake Worth Rd; they interior is roomy, not fancy, but well kept.

They are often busy, not crazy busy, but there are several patrons any day, especially in the 5-8 pm slot.

Good happy hours and specials depending on the day (Tuesday, for instance, is $ 2/tacos).

We like to sit at the bar and enjoy a few cold ones (for different beers than the classic Corona, try the Victoria or the Pacifico) with some tacos.

We also tried the quesadilla and a few other dishes: while the dishes are the classic American-Mexican offerings, they are well done and cared for.

Among the tacos, I like the carne asada (grilled meat) and also the barbacoa (BBQ), while I had better “al pastor” elsewhere (but we are often in Miami). By no means is the Al Pastor bad, mind you, but the meat is a bit chewy, more than I care for.

They will bring you chips and a nice salsa, thick, a bit spicy, not very reasonable, as soon as you sit down. The service is good, always; not over the top, they give you some space, but attentive.

All in all, good people, they care about what they do, you can tell, and the food is well priced and pretty good compared to many other similar...

The restaurant is spacious, nicely decorated and has always Mexican music in the background. The prices are reasonable and the portions are pretty big, but we normally like to come here for their Happy Hours, when you can get discounted drinks and food depending on the day. If you enjoy different cuisines, you should try their “exotic” tacos with pork stomach, or cecina, or beef tripe (or tongue, or head) or cactus; and while you’re waiting you can enjoy an imported beer with the tortillas that they bring you along with a homemade sauce. The service can be slow sometimes, but the staff is always very attentive. If you go there for dinner, you may also chat with the owner, who likes meeting his customers. One last thing: please do not forget to ring the bell by the door when you exit the restaurant! By doing so, you are telling them that you enjoyed your meal.

4.63 out of 5. So Delicous, very authentic. They make all their own tortillas. I recommend the corn/masa over the flour. Nice portions, friendly service and reasonable prices. One of my Favs in all of South Florida. It is from the same folks as the El rey del Taco Truck/Bus next to Bob's auto glass on Military Trail and Lake Worth Road. I always get at least 1 quesadilla con carne with the green sauce and roasted onions. It is great every single time i have had it. I only eat tacos/ mexican food in South Florida when I am in this area of Lake Worth/Greenacres because no where else compares. Tacos al carbon is a distant 2nd place in my opinion. I am very happy to see the continued success at their Greenacres full Restaurant & Bar location i have been to at least 3 times now.
