KFC — Restaurant in Greenacres

I was lured to KFC by their television advertisements. I was disappointed. They're advertised $5 deal consisted of one piece of chicken and did not seem like a deal to me. I opted for a three piece combo which ended up costing me $9. It was not worth it. It consisted of a very tiny leg, a quarter of a chicken breast and a quarter of a thigh. The potatoes that came with it with gravy with miniscule. The chicken tasted like it had been sitting for a while and was not fresh. It was 12:30 in the afternoon and should have been fresh in my estimation. The potatoes had a chemical taste in them. The biscuit was delicious. Besides the disappointment in the food I was frustrated and trying to place an order. The young lady who was taking my order was very sweet but I could not for the life of me understand a word of what she was saying to me. She lowered her mask expecting that possibly that was the reason why I could not understand her. It was not. I was embarrassed having to ask her again I said I'm sorry I cannot understand what you're saying to me. I lived in the islands for 10 years and I thought that I could understand most dialects and never had a problem not understanding but this was beyond my capabilities. Well just don't go by the Google listing price, which says $135 per night. When I called I was told there are no rooms available for that price and the cheapest room I could get was $195, so I told them to forget it, them the gentleman on the phone proceeded to tell me he could lower it to $175, again I said forget it, and was about to hangup, once again he said he can get it down to an even lower price, $150, I said ok that I can do. He asked if I was a rewards member and that if I am then I can get this price. I said ok then sign me up. So he did, i paid and reserved the room over the phone, then I get to the hotel and he tells me it's $179.00 , by the time I got there I had already paid for an Uber to get there and I felt I had no choice but to go ahead and pay the price. I just wanted to take a moment to recognize two fantastic team members at the jog/forest hill location. I pulled up 6 minutes to midnight, knowing they were closing and hating myself as any fast food worker would. I ordered Mac n cheese and they got it hot and ready in about 6 seconds and were SO polite and friendly. They already had everything broken down, cleaned, lights were off, and they still served me. They were really DOING THEIR JOB! Fantastic! Those 2 ladies were getting it DONE! And with a polite and happy demeanor? At almost midnight on a Wednesday?! Give them girls a raise! Their names were Isamara and Dachemine. I even went to Wendy's for a roommate's order and they still had an hour before closing and treated me like trash.
