Wednesday, July 1st, I placed an online order (3:20pm) for 2 meals. I was told my order would be ready by 4:00pm. Arrived at the restaurant around 3:50pm and waited in my car until around 4:00pm to go in. Entered the location and went to the counter, no one greeted or acknowledged me. Proceeded to get their attention to inquire about my order and was told they would check on it. 10 mins go by and NO ONE came back to say anything to me. I go back to the counter, ask about it again and am told it is coming right out. At around 4:25 I get my food but not my drinks. I go back to the counter a 3rd time for the drinks and everyone is searching for my drinks. Finally locate them in the freezer section. By the time I leave the restaurant it is 4:36pm. Ultimately my customer service experience at Zero Degrees was horrible. I honestly felt like the staff was out of sync and did not know what they were doing. Everyone was working as if they were on their own island, there was no communication and it was very disorganized. I find it hard to believe that there was a supervisor/manager on site that day, it was a total mess. Some of the other customers were also complaining about the service. To be fair this is not my first time eating from Zero Degrees, my previous experience was good, the food was decent; not sure what happened on that day.
Side note: Unfortunately, as I am walking to my car the drink carrier breaks and both drinks fall...

They had unique ones like their strawberry horchata, which was good. Their food is "okay" priced, but expect to wait 25 min for food because they havnt realized when the line is packed its safe to make fries in bulk. Being in a primarily hispanic area, making carne asada fries as expensive as they are is a bold move, especially when any nearby restaurant sells it for 5-8 bucks 10x better. The butter garlic sauce for wings was basically oil, and the honey bbq tasted good, but was pretty spicy; which is a turn off when it doesnt say spicy in the name, and the only drink I had was a 6 dollar boba drink I want to savor. This place is a mexican/asian fusion place, but weirdly has popcorn chicken, chicken tenders, and fries with cajun powder. This was dumb on them since they could have easily done an asian style paella, or asian inspired tacos to just start it off. I came here for good boba and fusion food, but this was about as fusion as a those combined Taco Bell/Pizza Hut...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreWe ordered for pick up, the card was - understandably- charged and off we went to pick the food up. It wasn't until we got there that we were told that our order was completely cancelled, just because a few items were no longer available. No call or notice prior to it being cancelled - we had to drive the whole way there to find out. Any common sense person would have simply contacted us and said: "Hey, some of these items are no longer available, would ya like then switched to something else, removed from the order, or would you prefer to have your order cancelled?". Since the funds were already removed from my account, it would require me to reorder the rest of my items and have my card recharged. Yes sure I'll get the funds from the cancelled order back, but not immediately. So that was not an option for us. So there was no effort actually made to retain the customer or the sale. An unfortunate situation for the both of us, considering we didn't actually get to try their food in the first place. Definitely room for improvement...
