Extremely disappointed in Chick-fil-a. Greendale location!! My high schooler went with 3 friends after exams to grab lunch. They sat down to grab a table, ordered and sat back down while waiting for their food. The manager walked up to them and told them they had to leave as they now do not allow anyone 21 years of age and younger in the dining area without supervision due to the school next door has been starting fights inside. (my child and friends do not attend this school) My child and friends said well they are not going to eat outside so they requested a refund. - Which they got, minus the drink because the cup was already given to them 😒. My child said they seen a sign on the door as they were leaving but cashier never notified them while ordering or not notified while grabbing a seat. I ended up calling the manager to see why this happened. Since they grabbed a seat and went up to the cashier I asked if the cashier notified the boys that they could not dine in and the manager said yes they were notified. Complete lie. The boys said no one ever said anything. Why would four individuals order food knowing they could not eat inside!? Also, refund does not go back to bank immediately, so there went their money for lunch. Seems very discriminatory!! My child also said two freshman from their school were dining inside but nothing was said to them. This was very surprising to hear and extremely disappointing. Do better! Especially the manager that said the boys were notified that they can't dine in ! What a lie- why would they continue to order if they can not sit and eat!? They ended up going to Raising Canes across the street! Wont be going back and sharing our experience...
Read moreI’ve always had positive experiences with Chick-fil-A, so today's encounter was quite surprising. I debated whether to write this review, but I feel it might help others who have faced a similar situation.
My partner and I visited the drive-thru and ordered two meals, clearly specifying our drink preferences. However, when we received our order, it was incomplete—we were only given one drink, one order of fries, and two sandwiches. Upon noticing the error, we politely mentioned that we were missing an additional drink and fries. The drive-thru cashier and their coworker discussed the issue and, in a noticeably accusatory tone, responded, "Well, it wasn’t on the order."
When my partner requested that the missing items be added, they were asked what drink they wanted and then asked to pay again. It felt as though we were being doubted over something as simple as a miscommunication regarding our order. After paying for the missing drink, we waited for the fries, only for the cashier to ask moments later if we needed anything else. When we mentioned the fries again, they stated, "Well, I didn’t ring you up for those." At this point, we were both confused and disappointed by how we were being treated. My partner decided it wasn’t worth the hassle of paying for another mistake, so we left with an incomplete order.
Chick-fil-A is known for its exceptional customer service, but this location appears to be an exception. The accusatory tone from the staff, coupled with making us pay for their oversight and still failing to complete our order, was frustrating. We won’t be returning to this location in the future and urge others to save their time and money from visiting...
Read moreOn October 17th I went to the drive-thru and ordered two shakes and a large fry. This guy the window was very nice but he didn't notice that the cup he gave me was defective and so when I went to grab my shake the entire thing exploded in my new car. I was very upset so I went back in and just told the girl at the counter what happened and she just said "oh". So I told her I needed to go to the bathroom and clean up because I was full of milkshake. So when I came back out she just looked at me and asked me if I wanted a new one. I was kind of shocked that nobody offered rags or a bucket or something because literally 3/4 of my shake was all over my car, my console, my floor, and me. It was the biggest mess I ever saw. And it wasn't technically their fault but I felt like there wasn't any concern for me. I clearly had milkshake all over my pants when I came in. And I'm not one to make a scene so I didn't say much but I guess I was a little shocked that they didn't offer some kind of help or compensation because even though it wasn't really their fault I didn't grab it aggressively. I'm really careful in my car and the whole thing just exploded. So just for the business aspect, I think they should have at least offered to give me a rag for my car instead of me going to the bathroom and getting as many paper towels as I could. It was a really terrible experience. The shake was fine but the fries also were not great. There were maybe four or five actual waffle fries in the whole thing and everything else was just pieces of fry. Just to top off the whole experience. So I'm not blaming them for what happened I just wish they would have been more...
