Edit: I updated my 1 star review to a 3 star since First Watch (not the location we visited) reached out & made it right which we appreciated. Thank you
My family & I were looking forward to finally trying First Watch this morning. We joined the wait list and were able to be seated a few minutes after arriving. The hostess was the most pleasant part of our time here. She was friendly, acknowledged us and was great at communicating. We were then seated by another woman & given menus. Right away it felt very muggy inside. It is pretty warm today but if the A/C was on you couldn’t feel it. We probably would’ve been cooler sitting outside. We were seated up against the kitchen where The cooks were yelling so loud the entire time back and forth to each other that I couldn’t even hear my daughter talking to me across the table. We proceeded to wait for a waitress for 10-15 minutes to get our drink order taken. A different woman then finally got our drink order and brought us drinks. We were never given water like the tables around us. After that we were sitting and waiting another 10-15 minutes before our ACTUAL waitress showed up and took our food order. No apology for the long wait or anything. We were waiting so long for our food that we were about to go to the front when someone else (not our waitress) finally brought us our food. The food was not reflective of the price in our opinion but the food was not the issue, the service was. My husband and I both just wanted to get out there. It was upsetting that we chose to spend our money here and the experience was awful. I was honest with the hostess and let her know how unhappy I was. She did apologize (not her fault) & offered to get her manager but we had already waited long enough and at that point just wanted to leave. I understand places being busy on a Sunday for brunch but we were seeing people being helped before us who were seated after us as well as them getting their orders before us, WATER etc. This was severely disappointing and...
Read moreThe manager knows nothing about customer service. She said she was the manager but who knows. The place was pretty well empty, maybe only five tables being used at the time. Seemed reasonable to request an open booth in a section that already had four tables being used. I requested this particular unused booth by the window so I could keep an eye on my motorcycle while we were there. The hostess said we could sit there but the table needed to be cleaned off. There was a couple glasses and a coffee cup on the table. The girl that was suppose to clean off the tables appeared incompetent by sitting down at the tables she was cleaning off and moved very slowly and in a manner that she did not want to be there. I got tired of waiting and went to the booth we wanted and the hostess agreed to originally and simply gathered the dirty dishes so we could sit down. Then the hostess began literally yelling at me, Excuse me!! Excuse me!! You can't sit there! She caused a scene that was unnecessary and embarrassed my wife. Now she tells me, this section that's currently occupied by four tables with people is now closed and we have to goto another booth on the opposite side of the restaurant. She was very rude and discourteous to us for no reason. I was just trying to help and clean off the table so we could order. I told her we're leaving instead and that apparently she does not know what it means by the customer is always right. This generation of kids is unbelievable. We will...
Read moreMy wife and I had the pleasure of celebrating my birthday breakfast at this First Watch location, and I must say, as always, this was a wonderful and delicious experience from start to finish.
The ambiance of the restaurant was warm, bright, and inviting — exactly the kind of atmosphere you want to start your day with. The modern yet cozy decor, soft lighting, and gentle background music created a relaxing vibe that made us feel instantly comfortable.
We were greeted promptly and seated without any wait. Our server, Daya, was outstanding — attentive, friendly, and knowledgeable about the menu. She made great recommendations and ensured our entire experience was seamless and enjoyable.
For breakfast, my wife chose the Steel Cut Oatmeal with a regular coffee — a hearty, comforting dish that was served piping hot with fresh toppings. I ordered the Farmhouse Hash, which was flavorful and perfectly portioned, with just the right balance of savory and fresh. To drink, I had the Morning Meditation with an Immunity Boost — a refreshing, vibrant juice blend that was both energizing and delicious. We also decided to split two blueberry pancakes, which were fluffy, generously filled with blueberries, and lightly sweetened — a delightful treat.
Overall, this location impressed us with its clean and welcoming atmosphere, excellent service from Daya, and consistently delicious food. It was a wonderful way to celebrate my birthday morning, and we look forward to coming...
