Bojangles — Restaurant in Greensboro

(Former highly awarded employee fyi) I don’t know why I even go to bojangles anymore. Absolutely overpriced, never consistent, never looks clean. And this is for 95% of locations. I paid a little over 11 dollars for a bos chicken sandwich deluxe and a large fry. The fries were room temperature and so old. The sandwich buns were cold but y’know that’s not such a big deal, I just know they didn’t toast them appropriately.

Otherwise, the sandwich was delicious which is why I have cursed myself to returning to this wretched company. But now it’s gone too far. The good food(when it’s kept correctly, and competently prepared) does not make up for this company’s serious lack of quality control on ALL fronts. I didn’t even get a receipt for my order.

This wouldn’t be such a huge issue if they weren’t one of the most expensive fast food places to go to. THE EXACT SAME order at chick fil a (deluxe sandwich, large fries) is 8.80 after tax. That’s almost 30% more expensive for an experience that pales in comparison. Never coming to any bojangles again. My arteries and wallet will thank me.

This location has THE WORST customer service on the night shift. Store manager doesn't seem to care how his employees act. Order taker was extremely rude and nobody seems to care how this person treats their customers. Please avoid this location. After I thought about it, this seems like a scam. Order taker told me my order total was $35. Order was a supremes meal and 2 kids meals. Total should have been $23. She repeated it to me 3 times. My 15 year old grandson was sitting right next to me. When I questioned the order taker about the price she sd " I don't make the prices, the price is the price". Need less to say we left. I called back and asked for a manager. Manager must have had me on speaker phone because order taker chimed right in while I was talking and said, " That's not what I told her". It should have been a private conversation between me and the manager on duty. I asked for store managers named and called back 2 days later. Of course he took their side and did apologize but he was CLEARLY disinterested in what happened. What would have happened if I had just went on around and paid the $35? Rolled up on the Wednesday before Thanksgiving for a quick lunch. No line inside and just a few other patrons in the dining section. The first thing I noticed was the unpleasant smell. Not terrible, but definitely noticeable. I’d recommend Dennis Tuggle, GM, do a deeper cleaning routine each night and invest in an air purification system. The employee taking our order was neither rude nor overly welcoming. She spoke somewhat quickly but I guess Bojangle customers are supposed to understand, “drink, side, sauce” even when spoken as fast as humanly possible. The two orders of three piece Chicken Supreme took around five minutes to receive after placing our order. The dining area was reasonably clean and we were able to find a clean table. The chicken tenders, fries, and biscuits were all very tasty; kudos to the chef! The restrooms were clean and I appreciated the optional functioning hand dryer to save on paper waste.
