I was in Greensboro for an international meeting at the nearby Sheraton Koury Convention Center. Charlotte does not have a franchise so I was excited about experiencing Biscuitville. However a team member decided that her impolite behavior and unprofessional actions were of high importance to her.
I placed my order via the drive thru. When I pulled up to the window to pick up my order it was incorrect. I can understand that it happens frequently in drive thru windows. I explained the error to the cashier at the window. She immediately explained the error to a coworker. The female employee snatched the bag from the cashier, reviewed the receipt and yelled for all in the area to hear that 'I would have to pay the difference to correct the order.' I never voiced that I wasn't expecting to pay for my order. I wasn't looking for a free meal. When I explained that to her she proceeded to initiate a schoolyard like exchange with me over the matter in front all who was located in the front area of the store both customers and employees. She ran to the back to make the order as I initially requested. I explained to the cashier who was very apologetic that I did not want this employee to prepare anything for me based upon her behavior. I am not sure that anyone wants an individual who has displayed horrible behavior to prepare their food. The cashier proceeded to retrieve the continously rude employee in order for me to receive my requested refund. The display of bad behavior continued.
The thought of warning other convention attendees to avoid this restaurant was unsettling but my experience was not enjoyable at all. I reached out to corporate over a week ago and have yet to receive a response so I am left to assume that this is acceptable behavior. Chik-fil-a is less than a mile away just patron...

Read moreAnother incident of disrespect and unprofessionalism occurred, where there was a complete lack of courtesy towards people of color. This incident highlighted the agitation and attention that can arise when individuals from diverse backgrounds interact with one another. The first incident occurred a few months prior, when I was waiting to place an order and inquired about a question regarding their menu, as I do not eat biscuits but wanted to try something different. However, instead of assisting me, the cashier decided to attend to the person behind me, which I found to be highly unprofessional. I became agitated due to the disrespect and unprofessionalism displayed by the cashier. There was no professional assistance provided to help me place my order as a customer. On 10/10/25, I was walking my dog through the lot, as I do every day, and my dog was near the intercom, sniffing the grass. An employee at the end door began yelling that my dog was urinating on the grass, which was not the case, as my dog had already relieved itself prior to our walk. I was taken aback by the employee's behavior, and it seemed like they were attempting to intimidate me. As a person of color, I felt disrespected and belittled by the employee's actions. I remained calm and composed, constantly repeating myself to clarify the situation. Fortunately, the situation did not escalate further, thanks to the intervention of another employee who called the aggressive employee back into the store. I presume it was to address their behavior and provide additional training on customer service and cultural...
