Horrible. Absolutely horrible. My wine cooler quit working. Called Hart Appliance. They sent a very nice tech by the name of Steve out to diagnose the problem. He called Uline and was told that the board needed to be replaced. Had to pay him $80 on the spot before he was allowed to leave. Required by his bosses at Hart. After a couple of weeks, the $460.70 board arrives. Steve comes and puts it in for $95. Leaves an invoice with my wife, since I was traveling. I get home from a business trip, and find that the wine cooler still does not work. I called to have them come back out, and was badgered about paying the invoice. I told them to fix the cooler, and I would be happy to pay. I was told that they would not send Steve back out, unless I promised to have a check waiting, which I did. Unbelievable! They are insisting I hand over another $586.80, and they haven't even fixed the problem!! When they called my wife to schedule the appointment, they badgered her as well, saying that if there wasn't a check waiting, they would not come out. Steve shows up, calls Uline, they say well it must not have been the board after all. Unit needs to go to the shop. My wife calls, and I tell her that there is no way I am sending anything to Hart after the way they have treated us. Told her to give Steve the check with a message for the folks at Hart that I would never in a million years ever call them again for anything. So now I have $666.80 invested in a wine cooler repair, and it still doesn't work. And guess what. The folks at Hart Appliance could care less!!! Horrible. One of the worst experiences I have ever had dealing with any kind of business. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY FOR APPLIANCE REPAIR! You'll regret it. Read moreMy wife and I went into the store today due to the high recommendations from several people we know. We were assisted by a gentleman named David once he was finished helping another customer. He asked us what he could help us with and I responded we were looking for a new dishwasher. David’s response was a gesture towards my wife and “well what about her”. Thankfully I did not pick up on this insensitive joke however my wife did. She made sure to clue me in on what he meant when we got in the car. There were a few other moments during our encounter with David that also rubbed us the wrong way. We told him we were in search of a Bosch or Maytag dishwasher. When I asked him if they had any Maytag in stock to compare, he stated that they did not deal with lower end appliances....however earlier he told me they carried Maytag and the one he was referring to was comparable to the $850 kitchenaid he was trying to sell us. We also inquired about the delivery alternatives that may accompany us using our own installer. I simply asked David if I would need to pick the product up If I used my own installer. His response was “yea it’s just a dishwasher”. I’m not sure if David was patronizing us because we looked young but these were very unacceptable actions and I felt they should be made known. Read moreI would not recommend buying anything from Hart Appliance. I had to wait for months (8 months for my Speed Queen dryer) for them to deliver the appliances to me. After the dyer was delivered, it stopped heating after 2 months. I called Hart Appliance and they said they would order a part (that never came in for 4 months). I called the manufacturer and they sent me a new dryer. However, Hart delivered me a damaged dryer and it started making noises. Hart sent a tech out to push the dent out. Eight months later the "new" dryer was making noises. The tech came out and said the whole housing was damaged because of the shipping dent and warranty won't cover the damage and it stopped heating within 2 weeks after he looked at it. Now I'm stuck with no dryer again. Hart refuses to replace this dryer and ordered parts to fix this old one. Now its been two months with no dryer. Terrible customer service. Hart claims they will call you back, which most of the time they won't. They don't deliver in a timely fashion. They deliver damaged goods. Don't buy...
