Church's Texas Chicken — Restaurant in Greensboro

I am in town for a women’s church retreat. I had never had churches chicken before. This was horrible. We walk in we are greeted by the supposed manager. She says they’re behind give her some time. We walked in at 3pm. Two women already had been there along time for 12pc and 16pc. When I finally get up to order. I tell her I’m ordering for 5 other people who didn’t come to go. She says no problem. 15-20 mins in they ask me will we take all thighs because they have no chicken. I said no. Waited 15 more mins for chicken. The little girl who had on all black and long eye lashes. Was so worried about some boy who was late. She was rude and talking trash about every customer. She touched her phone took off her hat and went out side and no once did she wash her hands prior to making someone’s food. She told us she’d been out of corn for a while. Manager comes back we mention the corn she says we’re not out. Black shirt starts getting smart saying I ain’t tell her that we was out. She did and got very defensive. They forgot one of my dinners. When I told them. Black shirt says “are we supposed to know which one we missed” yes you are supposed to know because yall are making the food. I have never seen a store that has the nastiest attitudes. Stuff was forgotten they were rude to other customers. I left there at 3:55pm. I got back to my hotel the chicken was greasy and I asked for mac n cheese they gave me fries. Watched the little girl with a great shirt or sweater and blond hair sweep the floor. Touch doors in the back and not wash her hands and touch chicken. There wasn’t a glove in sight. One person had on an apron but everyone and there mama in the kitchen. Loud, rude, nasty attitude, unsanitary, unprofessional, needs to be shut down and...

TERRIBLE!!! As the last church’s in Greensboro this place needs to be shut down!!! First the speaker system is terrible and the girl kept repeating my order like she wasn’t paying attention. Second, I get to the window and my total was over $30 for two wing dinners. Get to the window, they don’t have wings ready and asked if I wanted a breast instead. They hand me my food with only one order and no drinks so I’m still sitting thinking she is going to bring me the rest of my $30 order and she had the nerve to come to the window and ask if I needed hot sauce! No lady I want the rest of my food I just spent $30 on!!!! Then I had to show my receipt like I didn’t just order it! After sitting another couple of minutes they handed me my other order. My drinks were hot and had a coffee top on it and no straw! Got home and they still didn’t give me my other side that I paid $3.99 for and I had two! I really wanted to go back and get a refund but I had just got off of work, exhausted and ready to get home! And that location is not convenient! Long story short, it needs to be shut down! I will travel all the way to Winston or just go to Popeyes! The level of service and comprehension is so low at this location! This is not the church’s we are used to! Don’t waste your time...

We went to churches chicken in Greensboro NC on Martin Luther King Street. The staff is not friendly it take a long time to get your order they walk slow as turtles like they don’t want to be there and it shows on their faces I haven’t ate churches chicken in years. We came from Tennessee I wanted some chicken so we stopped at Churches which was a bad idea the girl at the drive thru was very unpleasant she charged me $3.29 for 2 large cups of water when I asked her why she said she had to charge it like a regular drink which I understood I told her to subtract the drinks and give me 2 cups of courtesy waters she gave me the small cups of water didn’t subtract the drinks I had to go inside to get a refund people standing in line they were taking their time to get people food the chicken was on top and they walking slow as turtles fixing orders and they are very unprofessional didn’t the manager didn’t even apologize for the cashier charging me for drinks I didn’t get. The chicken was not good like it to be. Whether something is done or not to that unpleasant unprofessional staff we will never visit that...
