Greensboro has a true gem in Fainting Goat Spirits! We were just passing by and stopped in on a whim and so glad we did. The staff were very knowledgeable and great to work with. Every thing we sampled was amazing. I especially liked the rye. And I even bought my brother a special small batch of bourbon aged in a barrel from Foothills Brewery - Sexual Chocolate! It truly tasted like chocolate lava cake!

The tour was great and we learned a lot about vodka, gin and bourbon that I didn't know...did you know that gin starts off as vodka? The bourbon still needs some time in the barrels but the Gin and Vodka tastings are worth it! Call ahead and book a tour at $10 bucks per person with tasting and take home glass.

I appreciate local business, but when the product is also amazing, I love them. Let's talk about @faintinggoatspirits because I love them.

Fainting Goat Spirits is a beautiful blend of a dream, a family, and strong #local "spirit."

Seriously, this family owned and operated distillery's local spirit starts at the very beginning and stays true through every step of the process. Even the labels on the bottles are made in #NorthCarolina.

I'm not stopping there though...this story gets even better.

As a supporter of local agriculture it makes me so happy to know that Fainting Goat Spirits also believes in supporting #localagriculture. All the grain used to create their amazing products comes from a farm right here in North Carolina. This is big. The choice to stay local supports our local economy, supports our local farmers, and supports local families.

This truly is a place full of local spirit. If you haven't discovered Fainting Goat Spirits yet, go soon. Take the tour. Do the tasting. Take home a bottle and support local every step of the way.

GREAT brewery/food but BEWARE of parking lot!! My family and I stopped in on a Sunday to have a few beers and some amazing food. Unsure if Sunday parking was free, we paid at the kiosk ($10) and went in the Fainting Goat. We had a great time, then went back to our car before the parking expired. We stood and talked for a few minutes with our son/GF before we headed home (in another city). We then navigated our way before pulling out of the parking lot. A few weeks later we received an $85 parking fine. They photograph you in and out, and use that time stamp. I disputed the charge and they rejected it. Great place but parking will...

My girlfriend and I make a point of visiting local distilleries. By far this was our favorite or at least tied with St. Augustine's distillery. The tour was engaging, but what we found unique was how scientific and technical our guide got with the subject. He talked about very specific chemical aspects of the process, and it stood out compared to the enjoyable but simpler tours we've had elsewhere. Also the guy tending the tasting bar and the spirits were both lovely as well. If you find yourself in downtown Greensboro, definitely...
