Despite dining experience in more than 30 countries around the globe I can say, without any trace of exaggeration, that this was the worst service I have ever received and, more most repugnantly, there was never any trace of apology. The drink orders, appetizers, and meals were mixed up repeatedly, delayed excessively, and served incorrectly. As we were left largely ignored, I watched the staff and proprietors flagrantly converse, drink wine, and eat full meals. I even saw the owners consuming a dish of scallops 30 minutes after they claimed that they were out of that menu item. The check took them more than 90 minutes to "split up," and then was delivered to us as a single undifferentiated document. Through all of this there was never any hint of apology in word or actions from the two proprietors, in fact they quite blatantly blamed all of their mistakes on us the customers. Read moreDowntown Greensboro keeps getting better each year. A once "dead" city is turning into a vital, beautiful destination. Yes there still is much to be done and that takes time. However every visit downtown it seem that something else has been revitalized and new projects are in various stages of development.
There also is a cultural revolution occurring downtown. Daytime, evening and nighttime events are helping to make the city a place for a myriad of entertainment, shopping and dining activities.
I extend a job well done to the downtown community for a well planned redevelopment and I look forward to seeing it continuing for many...
