Mario's Pizza — Restaurant in Greensboro

On Monday, 12/2/2024, shortly after 8:00 I picked up a call in order for my daughter for two slices of pepperoni pizza and was informed that they had three slices left and that my order for two of the slices would be ready in 10 to 15 minutes. She normally goes to this one because she’s a student at Grimsley and it’s closer to her school for when she’s released for lunch. Normally, I don’t frequent this one because I live closer to the West Wendover Location and I’ve never had an issue at that one. Once I entered, I couldn’t really talk to the staff because I was on the phone with the census bureau answering some further questions that they had for me. I paid, took my order and then left the building. My daughter didn’t eat her pizza as soon as she got home, and I went to take a shower and then went to bed. When I woke up the next morning, I noticed that my daughter had only eaten the top of the pizza, which was kind of weird. With her being somewhat of a picky eater, I figured I’d inspect it to see what was the issue and when I flipped it over, it was black as the color black. I was furious! How “tf” do you sell someone food that look like this and I know that the person that made this order knew that it looked like this when they sold it to me. I’m not sure as to how long it sat there before selling it to me, since this was shortly after 8 o’clock. If they didn’t have proper looking/salable food, then they should’ve said that they didn’t have it instead of trying to make a couple of more dollars. I have been waiting (not so patiently) a very long time for the newest location of Mario's Pizza to open and it has been well worth the wait! I'm beyond thrilled to have such incredible pizza, with that perfect crust, within walking distance of my job. The food is amazing and the staff makes you feel like you are part of the family. Love the feel and atmosphere of the new location. Pizza, Pepsi and fabulous people, what more could you ask for? Oh, and the garlic knots? To die for! Thank you team Mario's Pizza for making my life so much happier!!!

14 November 2022 Tonight I decided to try something other than pizza. Again, I was not disappointed in my choice. Gian Carlo, the manager, helped me decide what to get by taking the time to listen to my likes, dislikes and my dietary restrictions. I ended up with the Baked Ravioli, a Greek Salad (with the BEST Greek dressing I've ever had) and the always delicious Garlic Knots. There was actually enough food for 2 meals or 2 people! The Baked Ravioli is stuffed with ricotta cheese and smothered in a generous portion of fresh tomato sauce. Of course, I used my leftover sauce to dip my Garlic Knots in! The Greek Salad normally has olives and feta cheese, they were able to leave those items off and added fresh mozzarella cheese. It also includes banana peppers and cherry tomatoes.

I have pretty severe allergies and something that really sets me off is any kind of preservatives. I love that everything at Mario's Pizza...

The contents of the steak and cheese sub were good for the most part, but the roll was a bit tough like maybe it was a little stale… still could tolerate it though. The buffalo wings were seasoned well but it seemed as if the wings weren’t necessarily tossed, like maybe some cold buffalo sauce was just poured on top of the wings and put into the box being that it was sauce puddled into the bottom of the box but not much sticking to the actual wings. I normally order from the new garden location and they’re AMAZING every time, but decided to try the friendly location this time.
