This was my first time visiting Natty Greene's. I was there with a guest at about 7pm on a Wednesday evening. It's a popular restaurant/pub in downtown Greensboro that had a steady stream of customers during my time there. There was indoor and outdoor dining with free Wifi. Casual attire is acceptable but I observed several guests were wearing business casual. Waitstaff attire is definitely casual. It's a comfortable place to dine alone or with a few of your BFFs.

I ordered a Smokin' Turkey Wrap and potato chips. The menu described the wrap as roasted turkey, bacon, provolone, lettuce, tomato, and Chipotle-Razz mayo. I like things spicy so I thought this sounded delicious. My potato chips we're freshly cooked and served with a small amount of ranch, which I requested. My drink was ice water with lemon. My meal cost $9.00+tax.

My wrap and chips were filling. The chips were well portioned. The wrap had a generous amount of turkey but tasted dry and bland. It wasn't at all what I was expecting. I was looking forward to a little kick from the Chipotle and thought the other ingredients would only enhance the flavor. Tomato and lettuce was very light, and if the sandwich had bacon, provolone or chipotle on it neither of us could taste it and it went unnoticed.

The menu had a wide variety of items that were fairly reasonably priced. Even though I was disappointed with my order, I will likely return sometime in the future. The wings that were served to a customer at a nearby table looked...

The food was good, the timing was right and it was freshly made. The service imo was good but lacking a bit of experience(our server was great but we were a group of nine) and I’m aware we we didn’t know how the back of house was doing so this review is strictly for the bar. For reference we were one of the few tables inside and there were maybe 3-4 tables outside. The bartender(female) was so rude in announcing it was last call. Totally unnecessary since there were no more than 5 tables occupied inside the bar. One of our drinks was not available and you’d think for the sake of good service the bartender/server/manager would’ve let us know. Instead one of us had to get up and ask why one of our drinks was missing. At 11:39 we saw our waitress put in another drink order and several of us looked over to the bartender and noticed she made hand signals to the server to wrap it up(her hand motions translated to”let’s get the ball rolling”) I’m sure that can be confirmed via surveillance cameras. All around the bar service was terrible and it was not justified for being as slow as they were on a Saturday night. This was on 7/5 and the bar was not busy whatsoever. Several of us are in the service industry and we give grace where it’s due but that bartenders’ behavior was not it. I just hate the the servers tips could be affected by the bartenders lack of...

I reserved the Loft for my husband's 30th birthday party back in February of 2020. It took a while to write this review just now because -- pandemic, new norms, and just...2020! I would be remiss if I didn't say something. My bff and I had searched so many different venues from Winston-Salem to Greensboro and landed on this adorable space because of its intimate size, location atop of the building and it being downtown so it's got a nice view. It has a handsome aesthetic. There's a bar with a bartender who's in attendance as well and we ordered a bunch of food that they catered for us on site so we didn't have to worry about bringing too many things in. They also allowed us to decorate ahead of time to surprise my husband which was great because it was important that we had access to a TV and a mic to broadcast our birthday trivia game on. There was plenty for our guests to do so they didn't feel awkward standing around like a pool table, darts, and of course a fully functioning bar! The event went well, my hubby was totally surprised, and the staff was so incredibly helpful and kind. We even had access to our own bathrooms apart from the rest of the building's so they didn't have to share with the customers in the rest of the building! Would definitely recommend it to anyone thinking of hosting a party in a place you want guests to feel comfortable...

Drove in from Durham for a show at the Flat Iron. Needed food and beers before the show so we stopped at Natty Greene's. Parking (after 6pm) was pretty easy. There was a public lot pretty much across the street but there is also street parking and I saw a couple of open spots within a block of the place. Beer selection was pretty decent. Good selection across the styles. We tried several and all were pretty good. Service was excellent. Hosts were welcoming. We got a table quickly. Waitstaff was friendly and helpful and attentive. Food was average. We got wings, chips/salsa, blistered shishito peppers, and some nachos with pork. Salsa was less than average -- not spicy at all, pretty bland. Chips were good. Wings were decent (the meat was perfectly cooked and juicy but they were not crispy at all despite being told they were fried and I was told they would be spicy but they weren't at all) but not something i'd order again. The peppers were done perfectly. The nachos were pretty good and the pork was average (it was pretty dry). We'd definitely stop back in for drinks but probably pass on the food.
