I just moved to Greensboro and this would be my sixth time coming to this Popeyes. Each time has been worse than the last one. I just donāt understand why none of the employees that are rude and disrespectful. To their own manager still have their job. Some of these employees are very disrespectful. You can tell they have been doing this for a while. Because they now feel comfortable doing it in front of the customers. So I get to the drive-through. Remind you I placed a mobile order only for them to tell me. They havenāt even start cooking the the popcorn shrimp and it will be 15 minutes. I sat in my car 15 minutes waited till they got done serving. All of the cars in the drive-through. Went inside only for them to tell me they still havenāt even cooked the shrimp. Then it went from who was going to cook it. To I should order something else. But once I start asking for my money back. Now everybody wanna go and do their job and make the shrimp. Like I said everybody need to be fired except for the manager because she was the only one trying to do her job. The sad part is the employees talk to the manager like they are her boss.
This is an updateā¦. IDK who this is leaving a review, but please letās be honest aināt nothing changed at this Popeyes. Yāall aināt strive to do anything. You can never get in touch with the manager or corporate. I am furious. I spent $25 dollars???? Remind u the lady in front of me in the drive thru took her food back and got her money back??? I placed a mobile order only to get little to nothing of what I paid for. At this point, Iām wondering who is hiring these people because everybody in here thought it was a joke or it was funny that they had messed up my order plus the ladies order in front of me in the drive-thru. Then proceeded to get mad because I was correcting them about my Order they messed up like I said previously and my first review aināt nothing changed. We shouldnāt have to drive out the way or go to no other location because of the rude employees or should I say disrespectful employees.
Place multiple emails only for the manager or owner to not call you back, which is the quickest sign. Nothing at the store has been done or changed. I even called corporate and still aināt. Nobody call me back. This place is not even on the Better Bureau Business website. Like I said before and I will say again they donāt care about the reviews. They donāt care about their customers because if they did, I would have receive a phone call or email which I havenāt . So please donāt waste your time going here like I said before and I will say again, this place is called chaos Avenue. Because you never know whats going to happen when u get there after 6P...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI ordered my food at 7:30 and spent the next 40 minutes eagerly anticipating a delicious flavor-packed spicy chicken sandwich with tender white meat, perfectly crisp breading, golden delicious cajun fries, and a refreshing fountain beverage - not to mention my partnerās food.
After 40 minutes of excitement, I was informed that the store had closed at 7:00 and I would have to be satisfied with the instant noodles I had in the pantry.
I have to admit, when they ran that brilliant campaign about having the better chicken sandwich, I was skeptical.
That other chicken place has never let me down. In the off chance that they give me a minor inconvenience - say, having to wait an extra couple of minutes for my food - they graciously apologize and give me a coupon for a free treat or sandwich to be redeemed on my next visit.
But, the hype was real, and I tried Popeyes - it was everything that I was missing from the kind of place that considers peanut oil spicy. I was in love. Iāve told many of my friends and family about the deliciousness theyāre missing and was planning to say more - they could stop giving their money to an organization that funds morally questionable lobbying groups AND get a better chicken sandwich...
The first experience at this location was great. After that, itās been mostly good... After last night, I was disappointed.
I e-mailed them asking for a refund. They promptly replied that I would be getting a refund of $17 (I had paid $20). I replied, inquiring about the other $3, and havenāt received any response in 12 hours. I sent a follow up email this morning and still havenāt received a response. I checked my credit card, it shows a $20 charge and a $17 refund.

When I lived in Tx I ate at Popeyes at least 1-2 times a wk bc it was just that good. My experience on 11/19/19 was less than desirable. I decided to try the chicken sandwich that has been all the rave. Upon pulling up to the drive thru there were maybe 6 cars in front of me. I wasn't going to wait if the line was wrapped around the building or out in the street. The wait, for whatever reason was so long, instead of putting car in park, I turned it off. While sitting there, customers were walking up to the doors and they were LOCKED. For NO apparent reason. People with kids were standing outside in the cold waiting; no employee or manager came to the door to explain. The were also customers inside eating. It's like 7pm. An employee finally shows up to let the people in and gives an explanation that made absolutely no sense...something like "they didn't want customers waiting bc they didn't have enough staff." I was outdone. I was still in the same spot as when I 1st pulled up... couldn't move bc the drive thru is blocked by the building on one side and the sidewalk/parking lot on the other and there was a car behind me. Once the line started moving and I was able to order my food I decided to get the #7 chicken sandwich combo with a Sprite. Sprite was bad... no flavor, just the carbonation and my fries were warm at best. The chicken sandwich was just ok.
