I have been a customer to this particular store for almost 11 years. I have always been treated very well by everyone from the drivers to the managers and I always had a very good rapport with the male owner. However for, today I put in one of my usual orders to be delivered. It was a steak Stromboli with double meat and cheese, and onions and peppers on half of it, and a whole Italian hoagie, also with double meat and cheese, onions on half and dressing on the whole sandwich. When the food arrived, the driver was wonderful, I opened every ft hang up and myself and a few friends dug into our lunch. Immediately we all noticed that the hoagie was dry, there was Not a drop of dressing on the sandwich and when I opened it up, there was exactly 1 and a half pcs of ham on my half, no onions, and minimal cheese. The Strombolii wasn't correct either, the crust was overcooked, it didn't appear to be double meat and cheese either. So we called back to relay this all to them. A woman answered the phone and we began to explain what was going on. The woman speaking immediately flew onto us,and started shouting "i assure you that order is right", I mean, immediately, 2 sentences into the call, she was yelling over us, and pretty much calling us liars. We paused for a moment, and let her rant, and when she stopped for a breath, I said to her "is there a reason you're being so hostile, she replied "because my employee said they put dressing on your sandwich! Okay, so that one of the issues, I replied, but what about the double meat? I ex0lained that my half of the hoagie literally had 1 and a half pcs of ham , 6 slices of peperoni, 2 pcs of salami, no dressing, and very light cheese. She started screaming so loudly I couldn't even hear what she was saying, when I asked who I was speaking to, she screamed "i am the owner" and slammed the phone down. And owner, screamed at me, and ultimately hung up on me, for calling 1 time, out of 11 years, and hundreds of orders, she screamed at me , suggested I was a liar, and hung up the phone. I am, at the very least, shocked, and completely offended! If this was truly the owner I was dealing with, then it is a sad,.sad day for I r the fox's chain! Not to mention, they always had the nicest younger kids working there, and I was always impressed with how polite and professional they all were, and this is how their boss is teaching them to handle a customer, and an issue. This could have been a simple fix, hell, I always loved their food, and would have even paid for another hoagie and gone and picked it up, but after being attacked verbally, and it was suggested I was lying, and then hung up on, I think I've seen enough. In a small town like Greensburg, word of mouth is huge, and with so many other choices for take out, I don't think ordering from such a hostile and mouthy "owner"is in my, or my 3 friends future. I have never treated anyone the way this woman treated me, now would I. And my friends all encouraged me to call her back after she hung up on me, but I refuse to let her bad attitude and customer service skills, ruin my Saturday evening. This woman berated me, screamed over top of me speaking politely, and then hung up on me. I am certainly not engaging with someone like that, ever again, over a sandwich and Stromboli. $40 lunch, left sitting, because none of us wanted to touch it after dealing with the hateful and unprofessional "owner" that made it. Read moreMy family and I are, at minimum, regular weekly customers of this Foxs Pizza Den location and have been since its opening. The owner, who i first met working at the West Point Foxs Pizza Den, was out being our delivery driver for some time after first opening at this location when they were short staffed and still hiring. Ive met and spoke with him almost every time we stop in and occasionally he answers the phone to take your order. The entire staff here including the owner is friendly, very well mannered and always asks how they can be of service to you. The dining room is warm and welcoming with a Flat screen that usually plays the current sports game or news reports. Never once had a problem with the food or service from the staff here. Read moreI came in today to grab a quick lunch omw back into work and I hate to complain, but the slice of pizza I received was limp and tasted reheated. There was no flavor at all and the girl that took my order seemed like she didnt want to be bothered with my smaller order. I also am starting to feel sick, so Im wondering if it was the pizza. The can of diet pepsi was good though.........😆 Also while reading through the reviews and seeing the comments from the owner, it looks like he just justifies everything and makes smart remarks for everyone's complaints. Instead of offering to make them better, he verbally assaults every negative comment on the site, very unprofessional!!!
