If I could give this place 0 stars I would. When we walked in the guy tried to sandwich us between 2 tables even though there were spots elsewhere. When we asked to sit someone else he got a attitude bc he had to clean off a table (again the whole left side of the building was open as well as a bunch of seats in the middle. We sat down, waited for our waiter for about 30 mins and this lady walks up to 3 different tables with a steak dinner and was like did yall order this.. like no we haven’t even gotten out drinks. Our waitress walks over we are hoping we are about to get our drink order in and she’s like give me a min I’ll be right back.. soo finally about another 10 mins later she’s like what can I get yall to drink, (keep in mind it’s just 2 adult and a child) we ask if we can order now bc she’s hungry and we’ve already been waiting long enough. She’s says I don’t have my book on me let me get the drinks and I’ll be right back… about another 15 mins later another lady brings us the drinks.. finally she walks up after and we order our food. My kid is starving so I try to occupy her with the game on the tablet thing on the table… well I just so happen to check the tab and my food and the appetizer is on there, that’s it….. I was like well maybe it hasn’t loaded in yet.. about 30 mins later this other person brings out the appetizer and my food.. okay where is there food at… the waiter comes back about 15 mins later and was like how is everything well ummm they haven’t even gotten there food… she goes oh let me go check there was people at the computer and probably kicked it off.. like umm what?! Sooo then 15 more mins later they bring out our kids food but not my husbands.. at this point we’ve been here along enough, the service sucks, no care in the world that he didn’t get his food other than I can get them to make it real quick like hunny it should’ve been made almost a hour ago.. people were walking out like crazy.. I got charge $3 dollar for sauce and croutons that I didn’t order.. overall this place needs a complete makeover. If you want to wait 3 hours for your food and have terrible service, be my guest but I’d recommend copper river or something else...
Read moreMy wife ordered Applebee's Carside to go in hopes of an easy option of food while she was out running errands with our newborn. She was told that a text would be sent when the order was ready, so she drove around the mall parking lot to keep our newborn occupied. After about 15-20 mins of waiting, past the expected time, she called back up and was spoken to rudely by a server who informed her that her food was already ready. She got back home, about 15-20 mins away and the order was incorrect. I called up and asked for a manager who simply answered the phone "Applebee's thanks for calling". I asked to speak to the manager and she did not introduce herself once during our conversation (completely weird). Long story short, I had to drive 20 mins back to pick up the correct order and then 20 mins home who was at home frustrated with a cranky newborn.
When I arrived at the store, a waitress did check on me, and asked the kitchen to get another order going to replace the incorrect order. Shortly thereafter another server came by and handed me a bag that had been sitting in the car pick up desk for who knows how long that had the correct order.
The two servers I interacted with in the restaurant were friendly and helpful but the manager (Charity) made no appearance in person to apologize. I had to ask the servers for the manager's name.
Not only was this an inconvenience, a waste of gas, and my lunch hour, but the food was not even good. Fries were soggy, pasta was bland.
Would not recommend...
Read more** UPDATE 05/23/2023 I Never did receive the gift card in the mail. I am not surprised at all.
My son picked up an online order that I had placed. When I went to get the food out, my spinach artichoke dip was missing. I called the restaurant to let them know and for whatever reason, they were unable to refund my money for that item. The options: 1) Have my son drive back to Applebee's to get it; 2) receive a complimentary spinach dip [has to be redeemed] within 15 days; 3) receive a gift card in the mail for the item [which also has to be redeemed within a specified time period]. Before you ask, why didn't he check the bag, let me tell you. When he picked up the order, the young lady named Alyssa attempted to check the bag, but there was another young lady in the background who prevented her from doing so. Apparently, the lady (name unknown) had checked the bag several times. Well, obviously not since my dip was missing. My major problem here is that although they messed up my order, the only resolutions that they could come up with is to require me, the customer, to spend more time or money to get the item that I already paid for. If this were a one-off experience, I would have just let it ride, but my last few visits to Applebee's have been sub-par. Thank you, Alyssa, for at least attempting to check my bag; it is appreciated. You, ma'am, should be the standard of customer service. Also, the manager with whom I spoke was very pleasant; my issue isn't with the staff; just the...
