The first time I went, I asked the cashier about the sweetness of the black sesame milk tea & he was very helpful but the girl making drinks next to him rolled her eyes & glared at me for no reason. Second time I went, I asked if they could make a Guava Black Tea instead of a Guava Green Tea & they kept saying no they couldn't. I work at another Ding Tea and the Guava is just a syrup. Making a Guava Black Tea is the exact same as a Guava Green Tea but with a different tea type. It wasn't an impossible request so I thought it was strange that they couldn't manage such a basic customization. My friend ordered a Honey Milk Tea and asked if they used Ding Tea Honey because Ding Tea has their own syrup for "honey" that isn't the same as regular honey but the cashier just abruptly said "we just use honey". Then, my friend asked to lower the sweetness and the cashier said they couldn't lower the sweetness because it's honey... Just use less honey? Most Ding Teas use either 2oz or about 50-60cc/mL, so you could easily just do 1oz or 25-30cc/mL... And finally, my friend ordered shaved ice assuming that it would be like, classic shaved ice from most places but there was cereal in it? That's what really threw it off. I understand having set recipes but when it's a slight change, I'm surprised it wasn't "possible". It's literally the same drink but with a...
Read moreI love this place, but I recently ordered my family 6 of the original Ding teas with Boba with 100% Sugar and all of them were plain and unsweetened. Normally these guys are on it but that was a big bummer 😕 Would give them 5 stars 🌟 if not, make sure you guys try out your drinks before leaving, mine was takeout so I was long home by the time I tried mine! Edit: Guys I edited my original review, The awesome guys at this place contacted me regarding the experience! I didn't write the original review out of maliciousness or anything of the sort, I LOVE THIS PLACE! But I did want to give a heads up to customers to make sure their drink is made correctly especially when it's pickup and the store get busy. Mistakes happen especially in a place that gets frequented alot like this and during the weekend of course. I completely Understand the slight mistake!! Still I totally appreciate that they went beyond what they needed to do and contact me to apologize. I will definitely go back for their drinks, one experience will not ruin it for me, and their service today has cemented it...
Read moreEver since kung fu tea down the road left a sour taste in my mouth, physically and metaphorically, ding tea has been my go to for boba. The manager is so sweet and she’s always been welcoming every time i come in. Boba has always been refreshing and tasty as well. However today was a hot mess. There were only two girls working one making drinks and the other taking orders. There was a guy in the back doing not sure what but there was quite a line forming after i placed my order and he was still in the back. A past employee came in and began chatting with the girl making my drink and not only was she making a mess while doing it but forgot my boba until the other girl told her. She then popped the seal off the drink got another cup and poured the drink into that cup with the boba. I think i just came in on a bad day but i’ll probably be back just because i refuse to go back to kung fu tea. i also regretted tipping 18% but obviously couldn’t...
