OWNERS YOU WILL CLOSE DOWN VERY SOON IF YOU DO NOT DO SOMETHING. Now if you say, "WE CANNOT GET ANYONE TO WORK AND HAVE TO TAKE WHAT WE CAN GET AS WORKERS" then I feel really bad for you but I hate what's happening at your restaurant...
THIS WAS OUR 3RD VISIT TODAY (because when you do eventually get the food, it is good) BUT NOW I HAVE TO WRITE A REVIEW BECAUSE IT IS VERY CRAZY... I want to start at the beginning... So our first visit I want to start with, was for my birthday in March, my 4 coworkers and I all ordered sandwiches and one got a salad, we had 2 teas and 3 waters. After at least 30 minutes, our order came out, one of our 5 had ordered onion rings and there was 3 onion rings! The waiter even noticed and brought out 2 more. Then my one coworker sliced her chicken sandwich and it was frozen and raw. (I SWEAR) so we called over the waiter and then the manager came over and ended up comping her meal and gave us coupon cards of (2)twenty dollars off and (2) ten dollars off our next visit. Ok so the next time we came we called ahead and preordered our food so we would have time during our 1 hour lunch break from our workplace just 2 miles down the road to make sure we'd be back in time. This visit was fine, good food and just a little of a wait and we used our coupons. I tried to call and preorder again about 3 months later and the lady on the phone said they no longer allowed that. So today it was just me and 1 coworker going to lunch and I said, "hey lets go to bad daddy's its just us 2 so it shouldn't be a long wait"... so we get there at about 1:15 the hostess sat us and the waiter came to our table. There were only 3 two top tables sitting at this time. THE PLACE WAS EMPTY AND IT SHOULD HAVE BEEN A WARNING TO US! We go ahead and order drinks and decide to share a slider plate with fries and a side of tater tots and go ahead and order that at same time. He brings our drinks, we wait... 20 mins go by, he brings me a refill of tea, we wait. He comes by 10 minutes later and says our food is coming up... we wait... I tell him to go ahead and bring us our bill and 2 to go cups. The manager "KIM" I asked her name, came to us and said she was told that the sliders had gotten "TOO CRISP" and they were making another plate that was "CHEESING UP" whatever that means. She brings us the food and to go plates and tells us she is taking care of the bill. We eat a few fries and tots and bag it up and leave. So I say all this because THE OWNER OF THIS FRANCHISE IS LOSING MONEY.... Of course it was nice to get free food which I do not mind paying for my food, that truly isn't the point, it just should not be this way... Me and my usual lunch group of 5 are just a small group but imagine if they're giving free food and coupons out to a lot of people? I am writing this because this is a crying shame... AUGUSTA STREET is what is considered (a high dollar area)and it has been prime lunch times we have been to that restaurant. I feel bad because the food really is good but it seems everyone has gotten the message not to eat there because of whatever is going on at this place... oh, also, it wasn't just us, the table behind us when they got up to leave, one of the gentlemen of 3 people said "never again" and the couple at a table a few feet from us were asking where their food was as well. We observed during our time, the folks that were "working" there and it was at least 6 of them including the 2 cooks I saw were playing around, showing stuff to each other on their phones, one of the cooks I saw go to a phone on the wall, (The pregnant hostess I did not see playing around) I am aware there may not be much servers can be doing while waiting for food from the kitchen so I grant them...
Read moreNEVER GOING HERE EVER AGAIN! Went on Saturday night excited to try a new spot in the neighborhood. Three of us sat down for dinner. Our food was tasty and our server was sweet, though she was very adamant about attempting to upsell is on our cocktails and food (which a good server should.) We didn’t go for the double cocktails that she recommended, rather ate our food and enjoyed a drink or two while doing so. We even stuck around after to eat some dessert since our server mentioned she’d win the “perfect ticket contest” if we purchased one, so we did. The restaurant was noisy with music and fans watching the Gamecocks play Kentucky which is what we were lookin for on a game night. Once we were done eating we decided to move to the bar as to get out of our server’s way so she could do her side work since we were her last table. We proceeded to order one last round of drinks before ubering home. The bartender poured mine and my friend’s, but not my husband’s drink. He was patient and then went to the bathroom while waiting, upon return he kindly asked again for his Moscow mule. The bartender said nothing and walked away. When he asked for a third time, the bartender said nothing and then the manager Heather came over and said that she wouldn’t serve him and then turned to walk away. Shocked, I asked her to please explain why. She said with a rude tone, “we’ve been watching you and I think you’re having too much fun. You’re being too noisy and yelling.” We were baffled as that wasn’t true what so ever. Plus We literally were the only patrons left in the restaurant with almost two hours until closing time, speaking at a normal tone in a bar that has loud music playing, and not even buzzed off of the two drinks we’d consumed in a matter of 2.5 hours while there eating dinner. The fact that they disrespected my husband in such a way to not even look at him or respond to him when he calmly asked for a drink is just ridiculous. Heather the manager proceeded to be very rude to us, telling us that our server Brie mentioned something too which is funny as she kept trying to upsell us on bigger drinks. Meanwhile my husband had asked her for the check so we could just leave, but rather do that she kept going back and forth with my friend who was calmly telling her that this was no way to treat people when you first open up. She responded that she can treat us however she likes. Shame! Sorry that the food was good and service so absolutely awful. I’ve been in the food industry for over 15 years and have never been disrespectful in such a way and for no good reason. They will never get my business ever again. What a waste of space on...
Read moreOnly reason for a 1 star is because I gave this place a second chance and the waitress/ bartender CHARLIE was horrible. Whole time has an AirPod in and is talking to someone and ignores me. The first time I came with my boyfriend and she was rude and rushing and when we wanted to create our own she grabbed the paper on the table and slammed it and said fill these out and walked away. Couple minutes later she’s grabbing her things and leaving. This is my second time here and same waitress left me at the host stand as we made eye contact to be seated. I stood there for what seemed like 4-5 minutes and so I sat at the bar. Turns out she’s the bartender. She ignores me for the first few minutes I’m there then just comes up to me slams the coaster on the bar and asks “what do you wanna drink”. I’m a waitress myself and I understand you’re busy with 2 tables and 3 people at the bar but not even a “hi how are you” really upset me. Next she took forever to give me my WATER. The cups and everything are literally infront of me she took like 5 minutes for my water then asked me “what can I get for you” so as I started speaking she told me “speak up can’t hear you” with an attitude. I felt very looked down on for the second time at this restaurant I don’t think I’ll consider coming back here to HER service. She needs her attitude in check and clearly needs service training on how to be nice. It’s called customer service for a reason. Her attitude towards me made me want to cry. Not only that but My fries were cold and soggy when I got my food, asked her for new ones and by the time I was done with my burger she finally brought the fries out along with someone else’s food. I didnt feel like a priority to her. My money is just as good as anyone else’s and I always tip good to servers but for the first time in my life I didnt leave a tip because her service and attitude was awful.
What’s funny is that the Manager came in to the store with his wife and she made sure to take off the AirPod and start referring to me as “honey” and “hon and actually started to be nice....
