Big Boy — Restaurant in Greenville

Debated whether to leave a review, but after dinner last night, felt I really should. Host brought us, (husband & myself), to our table which had one set of silverware (knife & fork) wrapped in a napkin, and 4 placemats. The placemat in my place was filthy and there was a napkin with a bunch of crud laying in the middle of the table. After the host left, my husband grabbed the placemat and dirty napkin and wadded it up and put it on the ledge by our table. We ordered a full order of onion rings to share between us before our meals came. Our waiter brought the plate of onion rings which had a dish of 1000 island dressing to dip into. (The onion rings are definitely not what they used to be). He never brought us any small plates to put our onion rings on, (they were blazing hot), and no napkins! I walked over to the salad bar and got 2 plates myself. My husband got the classic big boy burger with fries, which he said was soggy, and I got a rhuben sandwich with fries. It's a good thing we had the 1000 island for dipping our onion rings because my sandwich came with no dressing on the side. I know we had sandwiches but, we never got any other silverware, and the gal that brought our plates wasn't even our waiter; we asked her for some napkins. Our waiter had no idea that we had gotten our plates until he saw them on our table and said "I didn't know you got your meal??" Through our whole meal, we shared the knife to cut our sandwiches etc. He never once asked us if we wanted our water glasses refilled. As we were leaving, I noticed the table leg had a folded up napkin under it to keep it from tipping, that looked filthy...probably mopped over many times. Needless to say, we won't be going back there again. They need to close this place and put a good steakhouse/seafood...

Wish I could rate them -10! Very disappointed! Well for starters my mother in law orders the French toast with strawberries and cream cheese and menu said with two sides. Then the waiter comes back and said it's only one side even though it's clearly in the menu and says it's corporate mess up. Then I get black flakes in my pop. Roughly 20mins later my kids food comes out barely any scrambled eggs and cold. Father in laws omlet cold with 4 burnt toast. So he asks for not burnt she's comes back with bread and butter. And my mother in law just ordered eggs and toast since the French toast didn't come with what was said. And her food was cold. As I am still waiting on my mushroom Swiss burger. Finally comes up with my food with burnt bun and no Swiss and no mushroom. So I ask for my Swiss cheese and mushrooms she takes it back comes back with just mushrooms on the same sandwhich so I then ask her if I can have my cheese as well? She takes it comes back with a cold slice of cheese on my burnt bun sandwhich.... Then we speak to the manager who says waiter is new. Ok so is the cook new as well since couldnt even get my order right. Lost...

We were in as a party of 3 and the waitress was super friendly. If anything, the only thing worthy of the stars given was her graciousness, kindness, and reliable service. Whomever served the small booths closer to the sunroom and before the buffet bar on 6/10/2022 did a incredible job.Also worth mentioning and applauding is the Hostess on the same night. I wish I got names but your workers are what makes this place thrive.Unfortunately, the three year old who accompanied us on our trip to Big Boy is now sick with a food borne illness and throwing up. He had French Fries. I only ate half a burger, and my significant other didn't finish his meal either. I'm unsure what's going on here food wise but something needs to be done or changed. I came to the reviews trying to figure out why little man was sick after dining this past evening and got my answer. I wish this location the best and hope something is figured out for the sake of other restaurant goers but we won't be coming back to dine here. Our little guy is currently being checked out at the hospital and still crying of a upset belly....
