Dirty Dan's — Restaurant in Greenville

Went to this bar to see a band on my best friend's 21st. We hadn't been before but wanted to go for the music, so we decided to check it out. There was a greek life event winding down about 20 minutes after the set was supposed to begin according to their calendar online, so I went to the bar to order a drink and ask the bartender if we mixed up the dates. She was incredibly rude to us, did not know anything about what was supposed to be going on, and got two of our friends' drink orders wrong. The band eventually hopped on stage and they were good (shoutout Stoneage Romeos), but once I got home, I checked my card statement only to realize the bartender decided to swipe my card twice to give herself a nice tip. One of the best and worst bars in downtown Greenville. The bar itself is super fun and hosts a lot of great bands and live music every week. I have attended many shows and enjoy the shows but the bar experience itself is very bad. I have been overcharged for drinks one to many times. Last night I handed the bartender ten dollars for a 3 dollar drink and received 3 dollars back. I then watched her take the left over 4 dollars and put it in her pocket. I understand everyone is trying to get money but that it not the way to do that. She also did the same thing with my boyfriend and best friend. It is really sad that this same occurrence of overcharging keeps happening because this bar is the best place to watch live...

I was invited to this place by a friend, but I must say that this was not the very best experience. The drinks are overpriced and watered down. The owner is very disrespectful and is only focused on entertaining young women and specific individuals. His vibe is a complete turn off and unwelcoming. However, the live music was entertaining and even though the crowd was small....they showed love and support. I would not recommend this place to anyone over the age of 30 unless you plan to drink and waste money. This place should not charge an entrance fee since they up the prices on...
