Hibachi Japan 10th Street — Restaurant in Greenville

DO NOT EAT HERE! I didn't want to give it any rating. They were busy tonight, I'll give them that but...Me and Two of my co-workers ordered food. Our orders numbers were in the 170's. Before this mess, I saw several people waiting around frustrated. One girl's order was wrong from another table and they made her get in the back of the line to re-order, by this time there was 10 people in line. My first friend got his order, about 10 minutes later they started calling out order numbers in the 180's. I politely went up there and told them that we were concerned because our numbers were in the 170's. The young gentleman who was of Arabic decent rushed me off by saying "it's on the grill". My second friend got his order. It was wrong. He took it back up there and they questioned what was on his receipt because the Asian male running the register rang it up wrong. He replied by saying I know what I ordered. They then took his food plate with a look of anger and remade his order. When they called him back up there, a young girl had expressed to us her frustration people that ordered after her were already getting there food and leaving. My friend asked the Arabic gentleman, what about her order? Again "it's on the grill. The Arabic gentleman also told my friend that "next time he needed to order correctly." My co worker walked back to the table and there was a white young male wearing a red hat near the vegetable portion that looked at him with disgust and anger and shook his head as if he wanted to start something. My co-worker didn't see it. He kept peering over his shoulder repeatedly for the next few minutes. Now I was waiting on my order.....after waiting for another ten minutes they began to call out numbers in the 190's. By this time it had been nearly 45 minutes and I went back up there and asked for my money back. The manager was now up front helping them as they were busy. I showed him my ticket and he looked surprised when he saw it was in the 170's. He said we are in the 190's. I said I know, I came up here the first time nicely, and told the young Arabic gentleman who shrugged me off and said our orders were on the grill. The manager apologized and gave me my money back. It was total chaos in there and we literally were there for an hour; still not getting our food correct or at all. I will never go back to this place. While leaving, the young male in the red hat stared at me as if he wanted to start something as I held the door open for my co-workers. Worst experience I've ever had ANYWHERE and only time I wanted to go behind a counter and get in...

Ordered 2 orders of onion soup, vegetable sushi roll, and a chicken tempura sushi roll. It was a little before 9pm on a Monday and they said only 10 mins before it was ready. Cashier was a younger Indian male (same person I spoke with on the phone) & was rude when we got there and ignored us to watch TV. Got home with the food and realized it wasn’t what we ordered, our fault we didn’t check before we left, but still. There was no chicken In the chicken tempura roll, everything else was correct. We called back to explain what happened and the same cashier argued back and forth with me about it; I asked to speak to a manager and he proceeded to tell me he was one. Continued to argue and told me to drive back so they could “take apart the sushi and explain what it was”. Finally I hung up because I was just going to let it go. A different person calls back and tells me he is a manager and what the problem was. I told him the problem and that the cashier lied about being a manger. Completely disregarded that part and kept telling me he didn’t see an issue with the food. Worst customer service ever. Won’t be...

Absolutely terrible service! I order something very simple online and they cannot even get it right. All I asked was for no onions. Suddenly I have mushrooms all in my food, which was not listed anywhere on the menu for the plate I ordered. I ordered this as delivery because my car is in the shop and since I can’t get out to the store, they tell me there is absolutely nothing they can do for me. I don’t see why I should have to go through DoorDash when their service was perfectly fine. The kitchen staff were the ones in the wrong. But since I’m a single mother who can’t drive herself out to the store then I’m just out of luck. I will make sure to get my food all the way across town at FUJI JAPAN WERE THE FOOD AND SERVICE IS...
