The food is good but honestly not worth the hassle. Both times I’ve been here have been trash experiences. The first time I ordered take out and it said it would be ready in 45 minutes (nbd I figured it was busy or whatever even though it wasn’t even 5 yet) and I get there and the restaurant is completely empty and the food isn’t even ready the ticket is just sitting there. What’s the point of ordering ahead if they are going to wait until I get there to make it? Completely defeats the purpose of ordering ahead. The next time there were a few people ahead of me no big deal but the kids are either stoned out of their mind or just have 0 sense of time or urgency. Like PAINFULLY slow. The place is a mess and super dirty, and they have nothing ready. What kind of a Mediterranean restaurant doesn’t have rice during dinner. I could’ve gone to a legit restaurant and gotten my food the same amount of time it took for them to make entrees for 4 people (in a chipotle style grab and go restaurant). In no universe should it take 45 minutes to get a schwrama wrap, with 4 people ahead of you. Not worth it. Won’t...
Read moreWe lived in the Middle East for 11 years and so we were very excited that the food here was sooooo gooood!!! The chicken shawarma was excellent. The sides were wonderful. We had the hummus and baba ghanouj. (And we did have fries as well.) And there were lots of toppings to choose from to put on the shawarma (onions, tomato, lettuce, pickles, purple cabbage, tahini, tzatziki, garlic sauce, and more!) And the best surprise was the mint lemonade! We loved having that often in the Middle East and Yaba’s mint lemonade just brought us back to our wonderful time there. It was excellent! I would definitely say that Yaba Mediterranean Grill is worth a visit (actually many visits!) Sorry. No pics. It was gone...
