Food: honestly, the food had started going down hill, which is why I rarely came anymore. However, it was good last week when I came with my nephew and great today! Best crab legs I've probably had! Taste and flavor: I got the garlic butter, medium, it was delicious and flavorful & I will definitely get it with the lil kick in the future. I used to always get mild. Freshness of ingredients: hubs says the crawfish are super fresh & best he's had. Crab legs and shrimp (head off) were great. Portion sizes: always just a tiny bit too much or you'll feel like you're gonna bust wide open... But at least you get to eat whatever tastes the best to you. I left a potato and a half. (lol) Presentation: it looks cool when it comes out marinating in your chosen sauce in a bag. My bag had a hole in it, though, so I ended up with butter on my shirt Menu variety: not an absolute ridiculously huge variety but there are several options seafood and non Service: Typically leaves a lil to be desired. Granted, if you get a meal it typically all comes together so all you'll need are drink refills and maybe salt or pepper. But, I get a lil antsy when my food is getting cold & I'm waiting for drink. Attentiveness of staff: see above Friendliness and courtesy: Everyone is typically polite but no one seems to go out of their way to make you feel special or anything. C'est la vie. Knowledge of the menu: I didn't ask any questions... So Idk? Speed of service: great! Food came out super quick & was delicious 😋 Ambiance: it's pretty cool, I guess Atmosphere and decor: I dig the decor & it follows a nautical theme Noise level: average Lighting: not so good, honestly. I'm fairly sure in a few years I'll be stuck using my phone flashlight 🔦 to light the menu Price: kinda expensive, but worth it - unless you're getting all you can eat, then moderately expensive, maybe or maybe not worth it, depending on how much you can eat... Value for money: pretty decent, I mean it is a lot of food Price point relative to quality: lines up imo Cleanliness of the restaurant: always seems clean Accessibility: easily accessible Location: easy to get to, sometimes hard to turn left out of, but relatively a good locale

This was our first visit to this establishment, we were very pleased with our visit today. It was not very busy and we had no wait to be seated for a table. Our server Jaida was EXCELLENT, she was very accommodating and made excellent recommendations since it was our first visit. The restaurant was exceptionally clean and the prices were very reasonable for the portions that are served. We ordered a Cajun Boil w/Crawfish, Black Mussels and Heads off Shrimp (corn and potatoes) and a Combo Boil of Heads off Shrimp and Scallops (corn and potatoes) with the addition of noodles to this dish with a small upcharge. The food was served in a timely manner and was hot, fresh and delicious, I found the addition of noodles to my dish a wonderful treat to utilize all the yummy extra sauce that the food was prepared with. We both chose the Hook & Reel Signature Seasoning Medium Spicy, the flavors incorporated were amazing! All the food was cooked to perfection, not soggy, rubbery or bland. The manager stopped at our table to check on us which we found incredibly impressive and Jaida never let our beverages run dry and provided extra napkins and condiments as we needed them. I have attached pictures of our meals, the restaurant is very dimly lit, so I have pictures with and without flash so you can get a true appreciation for the flavors and textures of this meal. This is a true "hands on" eating experience, they graciously provide gloves and a snazzy bib to catch a the extra bits from getting your top messy. They have a hand sink located at the rear of the establishment to wash up after your meal as well. We had a wonderful experience and we will be returning in the future!

I have always loved coming to this hook and real but I don’t think I will be coming back. This location was great when it opened through the pandemic it provided great food and great service. Since they have implemented the all you can eat the quality has steeply gone down. The all you can eat is priced at $40 and seems like a good deal but that’s where they get you. This last time I was there I ordered 2 clusters with corn and potatoes I was met with a sad bag of skinny legs with a single potato the size of a large marble. This came out after the calamari that I ordered which had the color of burnt leather with the taste to match. Back to the boil bag, since it only came with a marble/potato I ordered a few more. It only took them 30 min to get my potatoes out, conveniently I was already finishing up the first two sad clusters so I went ahead and put in another order for another cluster and some corn and potatoes. That order only took another 25min and was missing the corn. This was topped off by the fact they the manager CAN NOT DISCOUNT THE ALL YOU CAN EAT BY CORPORATE. So yes this sad meal of all you can eat came to about $100 for the both of us and came with sad food pick of soggy shrimp to follow.

Went there tonight and waited for someone at the podium for a few minutes. Lady comes up and tells us it would be 20-25 minutes which I expected on a Saturday night and had no problem with. She said she would let us know but never took down our name. I then notice she was working the bar after she checked us and others in. After observing for a while I then noticed that the hostess was seating in parties that were coming in the door. After I then noticed she seated a walk in party of two I ask her about this and why I waited 25 minutes and the other just walked in and she said that I was not on her list. I was immediately pissed and walked out after this time of waiting as now the restaurant was full. We were not the only one as there were other parties waiting that were also not on the list. After leaving I called in to try and speak to a manger but was told one was not available and I would have to leave a message for one to call me back, which I declined to do so. The last time I ate at this restaurant I was one of a few dining on a Saturday night dinner time so it seems like on thing keeping this place busy now is the all you can eat, which seems like they can’t handle as lots of people had to wait long time to get on the list that I was not on. Customer service sucks at this restaurant and I would suggest just like I will from now on take your business elsewhere. I ate at another restaurant who did in fact use a list and put my name on the list. If the hostess cannot handle the job then a manager, who seems to not exist, should help out not...
