They took not only 10 minutes (3:17) to make two large Caramel Frappes but there was absolutely no one in line except for two cars. The manager along with 4 other employees were laughing about people and the orders they were making. So I took it upon myself to walk in and see what was taking so long on my order since it takes less than 2 minutes to make frappes, prior to my experience working in and with people in fast food restaurants. As I walked in the manager looked at me handed me two melted large caramel frappes (3:27pm), and yelled to the people in the back “he’s gay” with laughter and my girlfriend and I looked at each other in question of why it took so long for people to make two drinks. I think the manager needs a little advice here. First off: you insulted me and then failed at making an order move out past the due time to help your companies score have better time for competition. Two: the quality of the frappes were not in good condition and you proceeded to hand me melted frozen drinks. Three: as a manager you’re required to respect customers even if you don’t like them, you failed at that. Four: it took you 10 minute to make two drinks when no one was in line. I think you wanted to push larger orders out first, which is understandable… but it’s the fact you wanted to assault someone because you failed to get what you needed to be done. You deserve this one star. And how about this. Instead of trying to impress your crew and talking about people, learn respect and learn to make food out on a decent time. Because not everyone runs on...
Read moreI worked here at this McDonald's, 2116 Greenville Boulevard Southeast. Everyone had a poor attitude and seemed to be on a power trip, including the managers on duty. Only a select few maybe three people were kind. I only work 2 weeks and had to quit because I could not tolerate the disrespectful behavior and confrontations from the manager and other employees. Today I went in needing a letter for food stamps stating that I did no longer work at this McDonald's and was approached with an attitude upon my request from a lady with blonde hair in a purple shirt stating that she was a manager. I understand not being certified to provide letters of termination or information stating that I no longer work here but the attitude was unacceptable!!! They made me feel as if diversity and inclusion was a thing of the past in this establishment there is no such thing being performed. I cannot eat it this restaurant anymore out of fear of my food being compromised by the employees or a manager because of the lack of professionalism and disrespectful behavior and attitude. I do not recommend this McDonald's to anyone who expects to have a professional and joyful experience. Just one trip and you'll realize what I mean, I also want to commend the Latino guy with really short blondeish colored hair with really good nails, because he is always kind professional and shows high integrity for his job, but I can say the exact opposite for all the other employees. Very very poor establishment as far as the...
Read moreNumber 8: immortal food In 1996, wellness educator and Nutritionist Karen Hanrahan decided to keep a McDonald's burger, to see how long it would last before going bad. The result, after, 12 years, was astonishing. Other than drying out and having a bit of an odd smell, the burger looked nearly exactly the way it did when first bought. The experiment has famously been replicated by many other people using different foods from McDonald's, including French fries, chicken nuggets, and various burgers, all having the same results. The fact that McDonald's food remains visibly appetizing after years is not a good thing. It just shows how much they are laden with artificial preservatives that prevent the growth of bacteria and mold, and keep the food from oxidizing. These chemicals have detrimental effects on the human body, and many health experts agree that they should be legally banned from the food industry. In the following listings, we'll break down the components of several food items from McDonald's, and what happens when...
