We used Mission Bbq to cater our daughter’s wedding on December 3, 2022. From the moment we set up a tasting of the menu in the Greenville NC location with Dakota, we knew this is who we would be using. The attention to detail and the presentation was beyond everything we expected. Dakota met every need through out the entire planning process, choosing a menu that best suited our wants and needs and everything in between. If we called or text her she answered immediately. When we did the walkthrough of the venue she brought us a fabulous meal of our chosen menu items and set up that up beautifully. The set up for the wedding was don’t before hand to not disrupt the reception. When they arrived the day of the wedding the food was set up effortlessly and quickly. The food was amazing, everyone has talked about how good it was, how wonderful Dakota and her staff were, how accommodating they were and how great the experience was. Dakota messaged me the morning of the wedding to give words of encouragement and just to let us know once again that her and her catering staff had things covered. Any food that was left was packed up so neatly and given to us to bring home. I would recommend Dakota, the staff and Mission Bbq to anyone that’s is looking for top notch catering and amazing hospitality and service. I can’t say enough good things about the entire experience. Dakota gave this mama & the bride and groom a peace of mind. I didn’t think that would be possible when it came to serving so many people. Read moreI placed an order an order at 6:30pm for pickup. As I headed out to pickup the order, my car broke down on side of road and I was stranded in 25 degree weather for over an hour unable to get to restaurant until around 8pm to finally collect the order. I called restaurant after being directed at drive thru intercom to pull into one of the order pickup spots and spoke with Macy who said she would be able to bring my order out to me (I had not selected curbside upon checkout but she let me know that she would happily bring it out me). When she brought it out she shared that they had included a dessert in the bag due to the inconvenience. (When in all actuality, I’m the one who made the mistake by not choosing curbside) Macys kindness really did drastically improve my night. I thanked her profusely as well as even cried to her and shared that I had a really bad day with her in which she smiled and told me she hopes that it gets better. I work at another restaurant in Greenville, so I am well aware that good customer service is a hard thing to always achieve. However, at the end of what felt like hours of being stranded and upset with my circumstances, Macy showed me kindness and completely turned my night around. Read moreAs far as to restaurant is clean it smells good it looked nice the reason for the atmosphere was the people behind the counter they were constantly messing with their cell phones which is filthy they have fingernails that are so long it's indecent and they scratching her head rubbing their nose they wiping all over their clothes while they're actually serving you and giving you your stuff even though they are not directly putting their hands on your food per se anyone working in a food area should never have fingernails like these people have they shouldn't be continually unless you're on break and wash their hands afterwards used their telephone then they hand you your forks sample the food act with those long fingernails after scratching their head with those long fingernails it's just not right rubbing your nose with those fingers when they could have at least use the back of their hand it made me feel very uncomfortable and I don't understand why they had a 87 grade it was not like this the first time I went in and the food was really delicious it did not have the taste that it had this time and we had to brisket it was not as tasty as it was before can't go back unless it has changes in those areas OSHA should not stand for that no one should work in areas with that type of fingernails on and they certainly should not mess with their phones like I said they are...
