12-17-2023 Piece of France Pastry Shop in Greenville, NC, continues to exceed expectations, and my 6th visit reaffirmed why it's become a regular spot for me. This morning's breakfast date with my wife featured the delicious Menage A Trois Omelette sans bacon, accompanied by delightful cinnamon croissants and a trio of macaroons in peppermint, vanilla, and caramel flavors.

Meeting Chef Marc Francois added a personal touch to our experience, and in a town where encountering someone fluent in French is rare, it was a delightful surprise catching up with him. I wholeheartedly recommend Piece of France Pastry Shop to everyone. The inclusion of free Wi-Fi makes it an ideal space for remote work or studying, allowing you to enjoy the calming ambience, impeccable service, and, of course, the consistently great food for hours.

Piece of France Pastry Shop grand opening was 12-10-2022.

I am happy that this France pastry shop has opened in Greenville, and it's certainly one of the best in pastry shops in the neighbourhood.

There is something special about Piece of France Pastry Shop - it's not your typical Pâtisserie du coin.

First, the Cafe strives to achieve the perfect combination of impeccable service and exceptional food for each and every guest.  They focus on the guest satisfaction and invite everyone to experience cuisine unlike any other.  With a reputation for delicious French pastry.

I had the opportunity to speak with Chef Marc Francois & his family. They are wonderful people. The chef is from France and was trained in France. He graduated from prestige culinary arts school in Aix-En-Provence (France) with over 15 years of experience.

Chef Marc Francois and his family are happy to bring a Piece of France in Greenville, North Carolina, where we can all experience a Piece of France in East Carolina.

We ordered the French Toast and hot chocolate and Ménage à Tois Omelette. The French Toast is made with fresh Brioche stuffed with chocolate gingerbread ganache and topped with candied pecans & vermont maple syrup. This French toast, which I ordered, is a dense and flavourful breakfast & brunch meal that delivers a perfect punch of sweetness and enriching flavours first thing morning.

Ménage à Toit Omelette - Tois egg omelette loaded with cheese, lardon shallots, and roasted potatoes ... served with butter croissant. My girlfriend had the Ménage à Toit Omelette, and all she could say was it was savoury and flavourful. The ingredients they use are obviously high quality, and it was mouthwatering. 😅 With this description, I am going to have to try it for myself. lol

As you walk into the pastry shop, you are first greeted in French ... "Bonjour" by the staff. As a French man, I appreciated this.

The service is friendly, from the chef to the staff: They can answer any questions you have. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming. I enjoyed speaking with other French speaking customers who were there. We all agreed that this was brilliant and we hope that the local French club would start meeting here.

If you're in the neighbourhood, the Piece of France is well worth a visit. Highly recommended!

Chef Marc,...

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Piece of France, a delightful breakfast restaurant that truly transports you to the heart of France. From the moment I walked in, I was enchanted by the ambiance, the aroma of freshly brewed coffee, and the tantalizing display of pastries. The charming associates only added to the experience, making it a place I'll undoubtedly revisit.

The star of the show was undoubtedly the French Toast. It was impeccably prepared, with a perfect balance of crispy edges and fluffy interior. The only minor downside was the syrup, which was pre-applied. As a personal preference, I would have liked the option to add the syrup myself. Nevertheless, the French Toast itself was undeniably delicious, and I savored every bite.

Apart from the French Toast, the restaurant's other offerings were equally impressive. The coffee selection was diverse and well-crafted, catering to various tastes. The pastries, which were generously sized and wonderfully fresh, beckoned to be sampled. The overall feeling of being in France was accentuated by the authentic music playing in the background, further enhancing the dining experience.

In conclusion, Piece of France is a gem of a breakfast spot. The great tasting French Toast, coupled with the enticing atmosphere, dedicated associates, and expansive pastry selection, makes it a destination worth visiting. Whether you're a fan of French cuisine or simply appreciate a cozy, welcoming breakfast setting, this restaurant is sure to leave a lasting impression. I eagerly anticipate my next visit to indulge in more of their offerings and bask in the charming French...

I’m met a friend for brunch at Piece Of France Pastry Shop on Red Banks Rd in Greenville today. Oh my gosh this was delicious, clean, and very friendly! It was an absolute delightful experience. I had the quiche Lorraine, which is pictured here. This quiche is made with Guyear cheese, and a type of French smoked ham. It is severed with a fresh and delicious salad. The coffee is locally sourced as well. They make all their own syrups to add if you would like to dress it up a bit! I only wish they had a sugar free option but as she explained, they make everything fresh and in house. So it is almost impossible for a restaurant to provide this as an option. This is a order at the counter place but they will bring your food to your table. They also checked in on us as we we’re enjoying the fellowship and food. The service was outstanding. They make a variety of traditional French pastries and breads for purchase. I would recommend getting there early for the best selection! I got ther around 10:30 and only a few options were still available. I highly recommend you giving them a try. They are a locally owned and operated cafe’ that serves locally sourced fresh...
