Nasty staff and very unprofessional. Manager Tylee Joyner dismissed my complaint when I called back, regarding a rude drive thru Employee who was completely out of order. She had the nerve to ask me with an attitude, why every time I come through the drive thru, when she say welcome to Bojangles, I reply, yes Bojangles and proceed with my order. Ma'am you work at Bojangles. When I ask her to elaborate, because I'm confused on why she is asking me this, instead of confirming my order, providing my total and doing what I'm paying you to do with my service. She decided to be rude and immature. I believe her name is Alicia (older black woman)according to the manager. At this point I wasn't paying my money there to support this disrespectful behavior. This occurred on 12/10/2023 around 12:30 pm. I attempted to explained what happened to the Manager and he said he would handle it, but when I had follow questions he said he had a line out the door and basically didn't have time. I asked the Manager directly are you dismissing my complaint? He coldly responded yes and promptly hung up on me. Sir why did you answer the phone and wasn't prepared to help? This type of service is unacceptable and that Manager is clearly incompetent and needs more training on how to Manage his wild staff and handle customers concerns in real-time.
Update.
I received a call back from Brad with Hr on 1/15/2024. I mailed in correspondence to their physical corporate office walking them through my experience however he confirmed that he did not read it prior to following up with me but was somewhat aware of the situation. I called and left messages for the regional Manager whom I spoke with prior but she never called back. Meanwhile, all he could tell me that appropriate action was taken but I as a consumer do not know the outcome. I ask Brad specifically about what does customer recovery looks like. He said that what happened to me will not happen again. Not a free biscuit, a gift card, nothing. I'm confident that this terrible customer service will continue but will go unreported. I as the consumer, understand that I contribute to these folks salary. I'm not interested in supporting a company that does not appreciate my business or offer any type of incentive given the experience. I provided accurate and precise feedback of my experience, only to get an apology. My final point is when they begin to see a change in their sales (drop) that is when real change will occur and will take customer like...
Read moreI worked at this Bojangles for a few months, thinking it would be a good fit since my job was straightforward: keep the lobby and restrooms clean, handle the tables, and take care of the outside. Not only did I do my job, but I went above and beyond. Yet, the female manager there clearly had some kind of personal issue with me. I have no idea what her problem was, but she sure made it known through petty behavior.
She would put me on the schedule, then randomly take me off, or I'd show up for my shift only to be told to leave early while everyone else worked their full hours. It was all little, unnecessary mind games. Despite being a hard worker and giving it my all, dealing with someone like that just wasn’t worth my time or energy, so I left.
It turns out I wasn’t the only one. Plenty of good employees walked out because of her attitude. She just got promoted, and honestly, it showed she wasn’t ready for the position. From my perspective, she didn’t have a clue what she was doing. Instead, she’d spend her time gossiping about employees, talking down to people, and just being downright petty and messy. It’s like she brought whatever issues she had at home straight into the workplace and took it out on the staff.
Yes, I reported her to the higher-ups. I let them know this manager is bad news, unprofessional, and completely unfit for the job. Bad managers drive good workers away, and that’s exactly what happened here. This store deserves a leader who can run it smoothly, not someone who’s selfish, immature, and full of drama.
Thankfully, I’ve moved on to something better. To the new hires and those sticking it out, good luck—you’ll need it! I hope no one loses their patience with her nonsense because she’s sneaky, untrustworthy, and fake. She’ll lie to make herself look good but is only setting herself up for a fall.
All I can say is this: keep up that pettiness, unprofessionalism, and chaos in someone else’s company. I’m so glad to be done with it. Bye, Bojangles! ✌️The food is good but the management there on day shift was horrible and the store didn't run smoothly when she worked, clearly she didn't know she was or is doing in the store. I say fired her and makd the store a better place for the staff. Never again will I want to work for a company that allows that kind of behavior from a...
Read moreI recently visited this Bojangles location for the first time, and I completely understand why people keep coming back! The lady working in the lobby is one of the friendliest and most helpful people I’ve ever seen in a fast food setting, especially at Bojangles. She’s incredibly sweet and goes the extra mile to ensure every customer feels welcome and cared for. Every Bojangles should have someone like her in the lobby!
I ordered a 4-piece chicken tender dinner combo with a large sweet tea, and my family ordered white meat combos with large drinks as well. Throughout our visit, the lady in the lobby kept everything clean and tidy. As we were about to leave, she came over and asked if we needed refills or anything else, which was such a thoughtful gesture. I was juggling my little ones who were getting a bit antsy, and her kindness and willingness to help really made a difference. We tipped her because she went above and beyond, not just cleaning up but truly engaging with customers.
It’s rare to see someone with her level of energy and enthusiasm, especially in the morning shift (she usually works from 8 AM to 1 PM, sometimes a bit later). The store was spotless and smelled fresh – no musty or old odors like I’ve experienced at other Bojangles locations. The restrooms were clean and fresh-smelling too. You can tell she takes pride in her work, and her positivity shines through in everything she does.
Honestly, she’s a huge asset to this store, with a great smile and wonderful people skills. I’m confident that her warm and welcoming presence is part of what makes this location so special. Five stars for the food, and five stars for the amazing lady in the lobby – I hope they keep her around for...
