Ok, to be honest, I do not like microbrews. PSB has a wide array available and everyone there seemed to be enjoying their drink. So this is good.
I came to see the music on St. Patrick's Day - or amateur night, as some of us old folk call it. The band was great - the Still Shakers. I highly recommend their blue grass music. Nice to hear something different.
But this us a review for PSB, so here it goes;
The parking was not the easiest. But this can be a good thing, as it can mean the place is popular and people enjoy going there. This seems to have been the case here.
As I walked up, noticed a group of people gathering at the back area of a place. But we walked around to the front. There was a food truck out front. It was serving food to be taken inside. The food that night was tacos and they were absolutely delicious.
Inside, there was a line for beer, so I walked around the place. Down the side off to the left, the hall leads to the back area where the band played and that area opened to a large backyard setting - which was what I saw when I walked up. So the place had plenty of room.
A smaller bar at the back opened as the place got more crowded. The staff the were pleasant and worked as quickly as possible for the growing crowd. And the staff was busy non-stop for the whole night.
The crowd had a wide span of age and social groups, which I love. And everyone seemed to be able to enjoy themselves and the people around them. The music was great. The food was great. Everyone seemed to be enjoying what they were drinking.
Most importantly, PSB seemed to be set up for you to be able to enjoy your time there. You see, it is the vision of the owners and management have set this this place up to be what it is, a pleasant place to have a few beers - and this means they are a success. I will definitely be keeping my eye...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI RARELY make a negative review or any reviews at that. But I decided to get my work done on my laptop at the brewery and planned on staying there for about 2-3hrs to get my work done. Iāve been a customer for a little over a year and I admire the staff at this facility. I swing by every other week and usually leave a hefty tab to enjoy the ambience. Iāve never had an issue until today. I bumped into the manager out of anybody and with no exaggeration she told me after not even 2hrs of me being there that I needed to order something if I was going to stay and even after telling her I planned on enjoying some drinks once I finish my school work she still stood there demanding I either buy a beer or leave?!?!? I felt her bad energy from a mile away before she even approached. To corner me into buying a beer on her time was INSANE. As a manager myself for a jeweler firm, I have to say her professionalism was despicable. Iām sorry but the audacity she had was just mind boggling. No more Pitt St Brewer...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreTERRIBLE service. I asked 4 times to change the football game to the North Carolina game when the Minnesota game was being shown and got ignored for 2.5 hours... it makes sense the NORTH CAROLINA game should be shown in NORTH CAROLINA to begin with, NOT MINNESOTA. I got followed out of the restaurant by the rude server and cursed out when I complained once again and she claimed they were ābacked up out the door and couldnāt change the channelā when she was sitting there eating pizza when I went in the FIFTH time to ask. Absolutely ridiculous. Awesome venue but horribly rude and inconsiderate service. Not how you run a brewery on college football Saturday by any stretch of the...
