This review is from two experiences that happened within ~1 month of each other that was back in Oct/Nov 2020. This restaurant has always been slow whenever we come here and the last two visits were no exception. We ordered three Sonic cheeseburger combos with drinks and it took approximately 20 minutes for us to receive our order. This was not during a busy time otherwise I'd be more understanding. Cars came and went through the drive-thru while we sat waiting for our order. The order screen said that our order was on the way to us (after about 10 mins of waiting) but then it didn't show up until another 10 minutes went by. I do not know if inside the restaurant they choose to say the order is on its way or if it automatically does it, but that causes issues as it is incorrect. The food was good once we received it, but that was very frustrating and disappointing with no apology for the wait. The second trip to this location during that one month timeframe - I was really craving the iced vanilla coffee and my significant other was in the car with me so we both decided that since our order only consisted of drinks, that it should be fast! We were proved SO WRONG by this restaurant. We parked our car in one of the booths and ordered through the app (1/2 price drinks in the app when it isn't happy hour) and we entered the correct booth number and everything. On the order screen, beside the car, my name popped up to provide confirmation that our order was placed. So...about 10 minutes goes by and no drinks. Granted, they were busy, but it's two drinks!! Cars came and went through the drive-thru, many vehicles that were parked had left at this point. The display said that someone was bringing our order out...which didn't happen within a reasonable amount of time. We hit the button to ask about our order and they said someone would be right out. More time passed and finally the whole parking lot was practically empty when someone walked up to our car and asked if the order she had was ours. She said they didn't know which booth it went to (after she tried to deliver it to a different car that recently arrived). She was nice, but no apologies at all. I submitted this issue in the app and the only offer they could provide was a free Route 44 drink with purchase of something else. I also do not know what the dress code is for workers in the restaurant, but while we waited 20 minutes for two drinks to come out, one of them walked in with sandals. Read moreIf I could rate this Sonic a 0, I would. Today, my family and I decided to go to Sonic for drinks and ice cream. To be specific, we ordered 3 large drinks, 2 plain vanilla sundaes, and 1 Oreo Sonic blast. We placed and paid for our order as we sat in the drive in waiting for it to arrive to our vehicle. We ended up sitting in our car waiting for over 30min for our order to show up to our car. I ended up calling inside the store and I asked to speak to the manager who answered the phone and stated her name was Quitta. I informed her that we had been waiting for over 30 minutes for our order (as we sat in stall 6) and it had not been brought out to us yet. She proceeded to tell me that she could not hear me over the phone; I repeated my same story and before I knew it, the line disconnected. I called back but no one would answer the phone. By this time, someone came through the speaker to assist us (mind you we pressed the red button for assistance at least 10 minutes prior before anyone even answered) and as my family member is repeating how long we have been waiting on our order, we hear someone in the background yelling and asking what did we order. A minute later, a young lady is now bringing our order out to us. I asked her what took so long to bring our order to us and she stated that there were only 3 staff members working on the inside trying to assist Drive thru and cars parked in the drive in; she stated that they were struggling and everyone was upset with them for the delay in service. She apologized and I thanked her for bringing our items to us and we left. However, the manager was really rude and unprofessional in my opinion. And also, if they didn’t have enough staff to run the store properly, then maybe the drive thru should have been closed for the day. Read moreOK, so my experience at this location in particular was not a good one, it seems some of the workers had attitudes whether it was towards me or not it doesn’t matter, but if you’re reading an order back out to me, then it should be like a certain decorum, but don’t repeat it back to me as if you have a attitude because number one I never asked you to read it back to me And number two it wasn’t nothing to really get irritated over cause my order wasn’t even big so but that’s not the reason that I’m leaving this type of review. The main reason for my review is the food I ordered was disgusting. The fries were really salty and when I mean really salty, I mean it was like me going to the beach and just taking my hand scooping up water and drinking the sea water that’s what it that’s what it tasted like Just pure salt then the two hotdog that I ordered we’re also very very salty. It made me sick for the rest of the day I couldn’t even finish that food so maybe this was just this location because the other location that I go to off of 10th St. I don’t have this issue but memorial They may need to monitor their workers or something because the food was just really really salty and when I got sick yesterday now this all happened yesterday I’m feeling a lot better because I basically had to drink a lot of water just to kind of get that salt out of my body like I got a whole fever.
