As someone who frequents waffle house what I observed today was not acceptable. Some say service was due to lack of help, that was not the case as they had plenty of help. Our waitress Ms.Regina had the best customer service I’ve seen in a while. We had been seated and our order had been taken well over twenty minutes as well as the table behind me. The table in front of ours had a different waitress and was turned over once before we received our food. It was obvious that our waitress’s orders were put in the back of the stack to be called out. Juanita was making it very obvious that she didn’t want Regina’s table turned over quickly, very petty and little spiteful things that were noticed. Yelling that the other end opposite of Regina’s needed spoons they didn’t have any…. Wash your own don’t take from one because you are to lazy to do your job and or you are trying to be just mean! Also yelling at Regina asking why she was hoarding all the cups… once again if you were flipping tables fairly it most likely wouldn’t have looked that way. Ms.Regina never once got confrontational, she continued doing her job and, treating her customers with the upmost kindness and respect. Some employees hair was not pulled back and out of the way, didn’t notice this employee’s name tag but had two long pony tails that were hanging in front touching silverware as it was placed down on customer table… very unsanitary. This was brought to the attention of David, Manager which was very kind and receptive, thanked us for sharing and giving feedback on our visit today. This was not just a today’s problem as to why I’m writing a review. Read moreSo I have ordered To Go from the Thomas Langston waffle house several times. I have had mostly satisfactory experiences in the past. However, this evening, I placed a $30+ order over the phone. The lady who answered asked me what I wanted, but didn't even bother to ask for my name or number or even tell me the total.... but ok, well I trusted she did her job. So my nephew gets there 20 mins later just to find out that the lady who took my order didn't even write it down or pass along the info to the cook. Thankfully the cook took the initiative to take the order directly from my nephew but we could have so easily walked away from there and spent our money at a restaurant where the staff supports the mission of the store which is simple... MAKE THE BUSINESS MONEY!! As a business owner, you hire people and trust that they are doing their jobs and would hate to think that an employees laziness or dislike for the job would be COSTING the restaurant money... while I'm sure the waffle house constantly has business, I'm sure my little $30 meal wouldnt cause a bankruptcy. But for that to continue to happen could definitely cost that store a substantional loss of business. I mean there are like 3 others in a drivable distance. I only hope that the store owner does some serious staff evaluations and maybe conduct some RE-training on what the staffs purpose is at...
Read moreIf I could give negative stars I would my family and I come here mostly every week this used to be our favorite waffle house. We had a server named Taje she was very rude she rung up our bill and it was $50 we asked the cashier to reenter the order the total came out to be $30 something dollars. My family and I we do not eat pork so we ordered our food with chicken we asked only two sides of chicken not 3 for the meal my two toddlers were sharing we tried explaining this to her and she just shoved the check in our face saying we were wrong. We know our boys would not eat that food. We also asked for onions and cheese in my husband's hashbrowns they got put in his eggs. We never asked for grits and got those. Then once we tried to ask for more hashbrowns she took my husband's whole plate to put the cheese and onions in the very unsanitary. On her way back she shoved the plate in my husband's face almost hitting my 3 year old. Very disappointed in this server. Training needs to be taught again.
