Texas Roadhouse — Restaurant in Greenville

We went to the Greenville Texas Roadhouse on 2/25 around 6pm. We were very excited to go because we’ve never had a bad experience at a Texas Roadhouse ever and love the Rockwall one. After reading the great reviews on Facebook we were extra excited because everyone was raving about the restaurant and no wait time.

The parking lot is AWFUL. Despite being huge, there’s zero parking and people were parked in fire lanes and all over. A person in our party went in to get a table. We were told there was a 1hr 20min wait! 😱 we decided to get the text updates and went to Walmart.

Upon returning when the table was ready it took over 5 minutes to locate a parking spot again. We were seated quickly and our waitress was nice. Everything was good between us being seated and the food coming out. The restaurant employees seemed overwhelmed but they were kind.

My entree was prepared incorrectly. It was smothered chicken, with no mushrooms and loaded mashed potatoes. The chicken had the equivalent of 1/4 small onion on it, and ZERO cheese. I was given a baked potato, which I did not say anything about because the servers were overwhelmed and I didn’t want to be a pain. When my plate was brought back out to me (and my party was already halfway through their meals), it had a very small sprinkle of melted cheese on it and the chicken was noticeably overcooked and the loaded baked potato (which had no bacon) was now cold.

I understand it can be difficult to be a server and also to customize meals. I’m not one to complain. This is my first negative restaurant review ever.

The entire experience was bad. We only got offered a few rolls (who does not just LOVE Texas Roadhouse rolls?!), my meal was completely wrong, No one apologized or even offered us extra complimentary rolls for the fact that I had to bring home my meal to add cheese myself and heat up the potato, and all of this was after us having to wait longer than we ever waited in Rockwall.

The experience would have been satisfactory if it felt like anyone cared that my meal was messed up. I even ran out of water before the rest of my party finished eating.

I do not blame our server at all and still gave a good tip. I’m providing this detailed feedback in hopes it helps management improve and fix this location. We would love to return to this location since it’s close to home; however for now we will continue to travel the 45 min to Rockwall where it’s easy to park, we rarely wait and our food is...

My boyfriend and I went here to celebrate our anniversary. I ordered an 11 oz sirloin cooked medium with buttered corn and mashed potatoes. My boyfriend ordered a New York strip cooked medium with loaded mashed potatoes and veggies as the sides.

I really enjoyed my steak and it was probably the best cooked steak I've had in the past year. 🥩 The buttered corn was great and the mashed potatoes were good too, I feel like you can never go wrong with mashed potatoes unless they're undercooked lol (which they were not, they were very soft).

My boyfriend enjoyed his steak but felt it could've been seasoned more. A little salt and pepper went a long way for him and he was satisfied. His loaded mashed potatoes were good, but his veggies were pretty disappointing. I had one of his carrots and they were essentially raw (and wet) with no seasoning. The veggies definitely could've been cooked longer, especially the carrots.

Christian was our server and he was so sweet and attentive to us. Whoever had originally made the sweet tea didn't add enough sugar, so they made a new batch. In the meantime he gave me a coke. After I had already finished my coke he came back with both a sweet tea and another coke. 😂 He was very sweet and apologized for the wait. He was a very good server and we would enjoy having him again the next time we come in.

Have a real bad experience last night we went because of a birthday party got sit at two table instead of one long table then one of the steak was not cook right send back then they burn it black it was suppose be med. well not well done she ate it anyway after that but the real kicker is I was going have to pay three time because I have some sitting out one table and the two sitting at the other table and we have two different waitress and when I order told them I have free coupon for starter and that was there was one over at the other table would be on my ticket plus the two at this table she said she would separate at the end but she put everybody separate and end up putting the coupon on the kid meal it did not take off so pay for the one at the one table then ask the waitress to see about put my other two ticket together she said she could not do that because two different table didn't understand that so when I went to start paying I notice the free coupon was not took off because it was on the kid meal ticket so my waitress never came back so I stop another one and told her I would like to see a manger and she put the two ticket together and took my coupon off. Plus we was told a hour wait that was at 6:45 we finally sit down at 8:25. Next time I go back to Rockwall we just try Greenville because most of us live in...
