This Starbucks SUCKS. I just moved to Greenville about 2 months ago. I used to work at Starbucks until I found another opportunity a month ago. I was a 4 year partner at over 15 different stores. I get it. The job sucks, management can suck, you don’t get treated right, BUT you don’t have to make everyone else’s days worse to make you feel better.
I went through the drive thru today, on my birthday, with a mobile order. I placed the order about 3-4 minutes before getting in line but they were DEAD so I didn’t want it to melt. We waited in line behind the one car in front of us for about 10 mins… we finally pulled up to the window where they just handed us the drink with no ice in it. I ordered a caramel macchiato with cold foam, and I get it, from making them in the past, the shots melt the ice and you put less ice in order to have room for foam, BUT this is why I ordered a Grande in a Venti cup. When I got an order like that in the past I had enough brain cells to know what they meant.
anyway, I went back in to ask for a remake, and the two people on bar were just laughing and playing around while ignoring the customer at register in front of me. I waited and waited until the drive thru barista came over and helped the other people in front then me. I told him kindly what the problem was and he just stared at me and then the cup and started taking the sticker off of it. he went over to the barista on bar and yelled out that he needed a remake because “It has no ice and he CLAIMS you didn’t use blonde shots” then he laughed right after. I was standing RIGHT THERE. the barista on bar angrily made my drink again and intentionally left more room in this cup then the last one. essentially giving me a tall in a venti cup. she slammed the cup down when she was done and yelled out my name not making eye contact at all. Fun fact: they still made it wrong, no vanilla syrup.
*Also I understand that writing on cups is part of policy now, I never cared for doing it either, but they were writing on cups and laughing while ignoring me at the front, yet I got no message on either drink… just saying.
This is not the first time that i’ve been laughed at by these baristas. I’ve gone through the drive thru and used partner numbers and they laughed and talked into their headsets. “HE has partner numbers?” Just the overall attitude from these people is nasty. Starbucks is a temporary job, if you hate your life while you’re there, get off your ass and work for something better. This is the kind of incompetence that motivated me to leave this place and find an actual career. It is childish and embarrassing. Grow up...
Read moreI go to Starbucks frequently, probably too frequently for a $6 glass of flavored milk, but either way and I still keep coming back, but after visiting this location, that I think needs to change. I have been to this location several times and every time they are a failure. Either they are out of something or they get the order wrong or you are standing there for your mobile order and none of the 5-8 people behind the counter are acknowledging your existence or they have long drive through lines. They literally seem to be doing everything in their power to detract customers. While they NOW have a mobile pick up area close to the register where someone should help you faster, it still failed. I walked in gave the person working the mobile area my name, she said it and looks for the drink and I guess it wasn’t there and just start calling out other names for 2 minutes. She said nothing to me like “it will be right up” or “I don’t see it here, let me look”. It was like I became invisible. It was so strange. So I moved over to the order line and asked the guy there where my drink was. It was still being made even thought it was 10min past the latest time they said it would be ready. Then when it was done she put it with the drinks that where order in the store, where it stat for at least 5 more minute and I had to say “where is it” and he found I there. This place is so messed up and not managed well. The store manager that calls herself “queen bee” according to their instore bulletin board, needs to do so much better then she is currently doing. But I think I also found out one of the problems on the customer service side. They are being led by a District Manager named Dawn that doesn’t care about customer experiences either. I called her over two weeks ago, the day this all happed, and she never called back. So if she is not calling customer back, I can only imagine how she coaches and training her mangers to provide even the basics in customer service. For the price we pay for Starbucks products, not only should things taste good but customers that are of sound mind and not being crazy people and just looking for standard customer service should be getting it and the fact that a District Manger doesn’t call back says a lot about how they lack respect for...
Read moreThis is by far the worst Starbucks i have ever been to!! I should of known when i walked in and saw 10+ people standing around waiting for drinks.... First off i got in line and the young man behind the counter just seemed to be in an absolute fog. I ordered one vt berry refresher and i had received a $20 giftcard for my birthday and w my drink purchased a cup $10.95 and 5pk of refresher to go packets for $5.95 along w my drink. My total was $22.08 so i gave the cashier my $20 gift card .08 and a $10 bill. So the cashier put my $10 on the register handed me back my giftcard and then put my name on my cup and walked away. So as i stood there expected my change he hands me my receipt and that was it. So i asked him why i was given back my card and not my change n he said he put my change on my gift card.... I told him that was not what i wanted and he just said oh like i did sometging wrong didnt even try n attempt any kind of fixing the fact or even like like he cared that he did this without asking me and then i even had to ask for a bag when i purchased a large to go cup and a think of refreshers. So on top of the foggy very in a sence dingy cashier i waited exactly 25 minutes for one tea while there were at least 8 girls making drinks and most all of them were going right out the drive threw window. I almost just wanted to ask for my money back but yet i dont think the cashier would of known how to do anything of that sort!! I understand the point of going threw a drivethrew is to get quick service but u have to as well take care of ur customers inside and show them the same efforts given to ur drivethrew customers. So if i were asked if i would ever go into this Starbucks again just even passing threw seeing my inlaws the answer would b absolutely not and they need a super readjustment of their...
