Just had a terrible experience at what used to be one of the few restaurants i really liked in Greenville. For some inexplicable reason a family with loud, obnoxious, unruly children was seated at a booth directly behind me. Never mind the all caps bold sign on the door reminding you to put your mask on BEFORE you enter their restaurant and the large sign inside demanding you social distance, these unmasked whiny children were seated within inches of me. Yes, they stood on the bench and turned around and yelled in my ear. Maybe it would be understandable if there were no other empty tables in the restaurant, but there were plenty. Clearly this family was a friend of the hostess because she greeted them extensively and loudly which just made the children all the more needy. My husband and i have been frequenting this restaurant for the last four years, but I don’t ever remember being recognized. Fortunately i was almost finished with my soup which although it was my entree had been awkwardly delivered about 10 minutes before my husband’s entree. I gulped the rest down and escaped to the restroom while my husband finished his meal.
My husband is a peach to indulge me because he doesn’t like much on the menu, but my food was fine. If you’ve ever been to this restaurant, you know there are some things there that are just hard to deal with. I have my favorite meal which makes me very happy on difficult days like today, but sadly I could not fully enjoy it. Thai Restaurant, you could have just followed your own social distancing rules you have plastered on those uncomfortable signs that make your patrons feel stupid, and it would have been much better...
Read moreWow. Classic example of terrible customer service. 3 months ago on a very rainy night I picked up my order and was assured everything was correct. I get the food home (25 minutes away) and instead of my $55 meal, it clearly was someone else's. I called and they acknowledged the mistake and asked if I wanted to come get a correct order. Since it was storming I told them it was too much distance and trouble to get back out there. The food I did get was clearly not for me as it was next level spicy and inedible.
I made it a point to tell them that I was going out of town for a while and they made it clear that it did not matter if it was months before I could make it back and they would still honor my order. He even repeated my name and said it was in their system as a credit!
Well today (3 months later) was the day and they had no acknowledgment of my situation and had the audacity to ask me if I had my receipt. Literally told me "sorry there is nothing we can do." I was kind like I always am but assured Them that I would never do business with them again and never recommend the restaurant to...
Read moreWe recently moved here and have eaten here several times now. Food is delicious but small portions for the price. My husband picked up food for me to go, we ordered spicy level 2. We had learned our lesson the first visit to not go over that. It tasted like a 6-7. I seriously couldn’t eat it anymore after a couple bites. So my husband brought the food back in the bowl to show we didn’t eat it as well as the other containers. They issued a refund and a frew entree next time for the inconvenience. We called yesterday about the entree, and we were told they changed their minds because we ate all the seafood. They told my husband they didn’t want the bowl from the car when he returned it and now are insinuating we ate it all. My mouth was on fire all that night from a couple bites. They said they refunded our money and it was good enough, per the owner. We will never eat here again which is unfortunate as it was our...
