Arrived with the family. First noticeable thing is that the place is somewhat dirty. The service was 3/10. Even though they came often to check on us, when we initially got there, they kept basically forcing us to buy a drink for our 2 year old. He doesn’t drink much so we usually don’t buy him a drink to begin with. After we told the first server no, they sent someone else as if the first one didn’t understand. The food was 3/10 as well. The meat was well cooked but lacked seasoning. Taco meat should not lack flavor. One other thing to point out, the prices on the menu are not accurate at all. I really only noticed the drink prices. The aguas frescas on the menu showed a cost of $1.99. When I paid the bill, each drink cost $3.99. It made sense then why they were wanted me to buy a drink for a baby. Even the kids drink for my 4 year...
Read moreThere is something very special about this place. Let me first say that I despise the typical Mexican restaurants that are likely the furthest thing from Authentic Mexian food. That is not what you will find here. Most impressive are the folks that run the place and their pride over the scratch made food that they make in house everyday. The place is so clean that I feel like I could eat off the floor. Just last night I was given a free lamb taco simply because she wanted to share with me how good the lamb was. I felt like I was at my mom or grandmothers house! They have a large menu, but I prefer to order what they tell me too or what the specialty of the day is. Several soups to choose from and lots of cold beer in the cooler. My kids loved the homemade juices that they make. Hibiscus and Guava...
Read moreBest authentic Mexican restaurant in Greenville. I highly recommend this spot. Spent 3 weeks in Greenville and ordered roughly 7 dishes. All of the dishes were served Hot and fresh. They were very tasty and would definitely come back and reorder every single one. You certainly get your money's worth, the portions are generous here. The staff was attentive and made us feel welcomed. The location isn't to big roughly 20 tables or so, varying in sizes. They do take phone orders for pick up. The restaurant itself doesn't deliver, but uses 3rd parties. Which we also did, the food was good but they missed a few notes, like utensils and the type of large fresh drinks. All and all, we can over look those small details because the food is second to none. Thanks, 4 Tacos Locos. Keep up the great work. We...
